A women’s strawweight division attraction has been added to the June 8 UFC Fight Night card according to FRM Europe (via Marcel Dorff) as Puja Tomar faces Rayanne Amanda.
Tomar (8-4-0) is making her UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Tomar hasn’t been defeated in over four years, with her last loss coming to Stamp Fairtex at One Championship: A New Tomorrow in January of 2020. Tomar has earned eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Amanda (14-7-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, dropping a fight to Talita Alencar at UFC Fight Night 223. Amanda is a former Invicta FC Strawweight Champion, defeating Jillian DeCoursey to win the gold at Invicta FC 53 in May of 2023. Amanda has competed 21 times as a professional MMA fighter and nine of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, June 8 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
