Kenny Florian has been a part of the PFL broadcast team since 2021, but the former UFC star has revealed that he will no longer be a part of the team going forward.
Florian announced the news on the Anik & Florian podcast (transcript via Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie):
“Originally I was supposed to be working it, but I did inform the PFL that I was no longer going to do broadcasting for them. It was a tough decision, but it was something that I felt made sense for me at this stage of the game. I got to focus on the Anik & Florian Podcast and being a dad.
“I’ve been very grateful that I’ve been able to spend a lot of time with my family. I’ll be continuing to do that. So, I’ll be watching these fights from the sidelines. … For me, it’s just at this stage of the game, I figured this was probably the best decision for me and my family.”
There has been no comment yet from the PFL.
