A welterweight division attraction has been added to the April 27 UFC Fight Night card according to Marcel Dorff as Tim Means faces Uros Medic.
Means (33-15-1-1NC) has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Andre Fialho at UFC Fight Night 228. Means has picked up 33 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 20 of them have come by way of KO/TKO. Means is competing on his sixth straight Fight Night card and it has been nearly four years since he fought at a pay-per-view event.
Medic (9-2-0) has won three of five in the UFC, with those wins coming over Aalon Cruz, Omar Morales and Matthew Semelsberger. Medic competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Mikey Gonzalez by first round TKO during the 2020 season. Medic has competed 11 times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night takes place on Saturday, April 27 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Manel Kape and Matheus Nicolau headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
