A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to the April 27 UFC Fight Night card according to Marcel Dorff as Ryan Spann faces Bogdan Guskov.
Spann (21-9-0) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping fights to Nikita Krylov and Anthony Smith. Spann hasn’t earned a victory in over a year, with that last win coming over Dominick Reyes at UFC 281. Spann has earned 21 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 12 of them have come by way of submission.
Guskov (15-3-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Zac Pauga at UFC Fight Night 236. Guskov has competed 18 times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance. Guskov has picked up 15 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 13 of those came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night takes place on Saturday, April 27 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Manel Kape and Matheus Nicolau headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
