Axel told Super Luchas in their latest issue that he has left EMLL due to them not booking him over the past few months especially since he worked opposite EMLL during the lucha festival in Guadalajara. Axel said that they had approved of him taking indy bookings but they weren’t too hot on him competing directly against them. Axel then said that since then no one had contacted them and felt that another reason why he was let go was because he refused to sign over the rights to his gimmick.

There is a lot of talk going on right now that Black Warrior has been suspended indefinitely by EMLL after getting into a verbal altercation with EMLL President Paco Alonso after he initially suspended him for no-showing events and overall lack of discipline. El Black worked EMLL’s show in Guadalajara yesterday so he isn’t gone from there yet but there are rumors going around that he is in negotiations with Los Perros del Mal about working for them.

8. Rey de Reyes – Finals: Electroshock defeated Latin Lover to win the tournament. Other participants: La Parka Jr. & Silver King
9. Steel Cage Match for the AAA World Heavyweight Title: El Mesias beat Chessman to retain his title. Dr. Wagner Jr. made his debut afterwards challenging Mesias to a shot at his title but he isn’t aligned with La Legion though as he brawled with members of the faction. Konnan told Wagner that he has one week to decide what faction he would be a part of in AAA but Roldan told Konnan that Doc is firmly with AAA.
