This weekend, the nation's leader in family-themed entertainment, National
Wrestling Superstars presents a huge double-shot weekend November 6th and 7th.
And huge is the best way to describe one of the weekend's headliners... he's
the 7-foot-7 Brazilian wrestling superstar, and former member of the WWE
Oddities, The Giant Silva. Also appearing for NWS will be a lady who may not
be large in size, but certainly is in stature... she's the original diva of
the WWE, the one and only Sunny (a.k.a Tammy Sytch).
Friday night November 6th at 7:45pm, NWS
returns to the Belleville, NJ Knights of Columbus Hall, 98 Bridge
Street (at Belleville Avenue, minutes from the Parkway and Route 21). The
aforementioned Giant Silva will be part of a huge six-man tag-team main event,
as he joins up with former NWS Heavyweight Champion and Bloomfield native
Vicious Vinny and his friend One Warrior Nation, against the 800-pound
undefeated tag-team The Nigerian Nightmares and their new friend "The
Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny Demanto. And along with Sunny, other lovely ladies
will be appearing courtesy of NWS's sister promotion WSU will present a
special women's wrestling bout this Friday night. The fans will also see the
Latin tag-team sensation of Masked Luchador #1 & Manuel Manny Moore, NWS
Heavyweight Champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc, Cruiserweight Champion Mighty
Mikey Pacifica, and much more.
Saturday night November 7th at 7:35pm, NWS
returns to the Dunellen, NJ Knights of Columbus Hall, 647 Grove Street
(just off Washington Avenue and Route 28, minutes from Route 287). That night,
Giant Silva will be part of an unusual spectacle known as a "Gulliver's
Travels Match", where Silva will take on four opponents at one time... that's
right, four... who will try to pin him down inside a giant fishnet. Plus Sunny
will make an encore appearance as well. The fans will also see the 800-pound
undefeated tag-team known as The Nigerian Nightmares, who will be scouting the
streets of Dunellen for fresh meat. Also, Indian Chief Draven, who battles the
masked luchador Manuel Manny Moore. And speaking of masks, the mysterious
masked Soul Assassin will take on Brooklyn's own Sonny Boy Gulano. Plus
appearances by "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, Jumping Joey Janella, and
much more.
Ticket prices for both events are, like NWS wrestling itself, family-friendly
at only $18 for adults and $16 for kids and seniors, and are available by
calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704. All major credit cards are
accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.
Remaining seats, if any, will go on sale at the door one hour before bell
time.
