On the NWO Back in Black DVD why is
Michael Buffer's voice edited out of the entrances in the matches in the extras
section?
I would guess that WWE didn't want to pay
residuals to Buffer for using his voice and likeness on the DVD. Or, if
Bret Hart was involved, maybe Buffer screwed up his name!
Every so often I see Ricky Steamboat's name
pop up on house show results, either working with Chris Jericho or Drew
McIntyre. Why is he wrestling and why not on TV?
The matches with Jericho were more a chance for
the two to work together (which they both enjoy) and was mostly done on overseas
shows, which allowed WWE to have one less wrestler on the tour, and Steamboat
could be both a worker and an agent on them. In the case of McIntyre, it
was done to help him learn in front of a live crowd, but not a TV
audience. A lot of wrestlers could benefit from working some matches with
Steamboat!
I was watching a WWF RAW show on WWE 24/7 and
as expected all WWF references were edited but when a wrestler or announcer said
World Wrestling Federation the comments weren't edited. I thought all references
to WWF had to be edited according to their lawsuit with the "other"
WWF?
"WWF" is edited out, but "World
Wrestling Federation" is allowed, although for some reason, I have seen
clips were the bleep part of the word.
What did you think of WWE using Eddie
Guerrero's name in the Batista-Mysterio storyline?
I think it was unnecessary.
