The subject of concussions has been much on
the minds through tout the NFL. What is the policy concerning the issue in
WWE's Wellness Policy? Have you ever heard of any wrestler, male or female, with
the exception of Chris Nowinski, suffering from a concussion after a match? How
long are wrestlers normally given to fully recover from a concussion?
WWE uses the Impact Concussion Management
Program, the same program used by major sports, for their wrestlers.
Obviously, many wrestlers have suffered concussions in the past, and not that
long ago, few would take any time off. Now, WWE is more likely to sit out
a wrestler that they have known to suffer a concussion.
It was reported that WWE was planning on
dropping ECW. If true, what happens to the wrestlers currently on ECW's roster?
Will they be going to both Raw and Smackdown respectfully? Will some be
released? What are the plans for ECW if any?
There has been a lot of talk that WWE will drop
the ECW name, but the wrestlers will remain with WWE, and be split amongst the
remaining brands.
On a recent TNA Impact! Bobby Lashley's wife
Krystal spoke about what her husband was going through and various other things.
She seems to have been given a more active role of late. Is this the plan for
her? Any chance we might see Krystal wrestling alongside her husband?
I doubt we'll see her in action often, but she is
going to be the mouthpiece for her husband in TNA.
I'm a tremendous fan of FCW Diva Mia Mancini
(Serena Deeb). She is not only a very beautiful lady but a very skilled and
talented wrestler. I've been reading reports of her matches lately and my
impressions have been very positive. I think she can be a great success for WWE
if given the proper guidance. I see her working with either Mickie James,
Michelle McCool or Gail Kim. Prediction: Within a year she will be
womens champion. She is indeed that good. Thoughts?
Given the way the Divas and Womens title changes
hands, I don't think it is that bold a prediction. Speaking of Serena,
you'll probably want to watch tonight's edition of Smackdown.
