NWS "Steel Cage Mania" In Edison,
NJ Fri. 3/19 With Former WWE & ECW Hardcore Icon Spike Dudley Vs. Danny Demanto
In A Cage
At around one hundred and fifty pounds, he was definitely among the smallest
of TV wrestling superstars. But those of you who watched ECW and WWE and got
the chance to see Matt Hyson (whom you'll no doubt remember better as former
star Spike Dudley) know that he was (and still is) pound-for-pound one of the
toughest son-of-a-gun's around.
And on Friday night March 19th at 7:45pm at Edison, NJ's Herbert Hoover Middle
School (174 Jackson Avenue, just off Amboy Avenue, minutes from the Parkway,
Turnpike, and Route 1), he will prove it once again, as he has signed on to
fight one of the Northeast's most dangerous and unpredictable tough men, "The
Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny Demanto, within the confines of a fifteen-foot-high
steel cage, as the Northeast's leading pro wrestling promotion National
Wrestling Superstars, presents a night of all-star action appropriately titled
"Steel Cage Mania".
Also headlining the show will be another former WWE TV star, and unlike Spike
Dudley, this veteran warrior tips the scales at over three hundred pounds. He
was one-half of the monstrous WWE tag-team known as The Headshrinkers, and a
member of wrestling's famous Samoan family of superstars, the great Samu. And
in Edison, he will team of with another former TV star of sorts, The Famous
Wrestling Clown. But Samu and his partner will not have an easy or amusing
time of it, as standing across the ring will be the 800+ pound undefeated and
recent 2010 J-Cup Tag-Team Champions The Nigerian Nightmares.
Plus in action will be NWS Heavyweight Champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc, The
Commandos (former WWE developmental protege "Too Cocky" Kevin Matthews & NWS
Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans), "Mr.
Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, Chikara Wrestling star Frightmare, tough guy
Jack Spade, and the NWS debuts of J.C. The Outpatient and "Cannonball" Jeff
Guerriero.
Ticket prices are only $18 for adults and $16 for kids & seniors, and
are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704.
