NWS RETURNING TO EDISON, NJ THIS FRIDAY
by Mike Johnson @ 11:38 AM on 3/15/2010

Former WWE & ECW Hardcore Icon Spike Dudley Vs. Danny Demanto In A Steel Cage, The Main Event At NWS In Edison, NJ This Friday 3/19

The Northeast's leading pro wrestling promotion National Wrestling Superstars, makes many appearances during the year in Edison, NJ and the surrounding towns.

But this Friday night March 19th at 7:45pm will be an extraordinary event for NWS and the Edison area, as NWS returns to Edison's Herbert Hoover Middle School Gym (174 Jackson Avenue, just off Amboy Avenue, minutes from the Parkway, Turnpike, and Route 1), for a show aptly named "Steel Cage Mania", as the main event will have the wrestling ring surrounded by that most ominous structure in pro wrestling, a fifteen-foot-high steel cage. And battling inside that enclosure will be none other than Matt Hyson (better known as the former WWE and ECW hardcore icon Spike Dudley). Hyson is a veteran of extreme no-holds-barred wrestling, and Friday night he will risk life and limb against one of the most dangerous wrestlers on the Northeast circuit today, "The Cold-Hearted Playa" Danny Demanto. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event that you do not want to miss, worth alone the price of admission.

Also appearing this Friday night will be the recent 2010 J-Cup Tag-Team Tournament winning 800+ pound duo of Maifu & Saifu, better known as The Nigerian Nightmares. This team made their NWS debut nearly a year ago right here at the Hoover School Gym, and have been undefeated as they have literally flattened all their competition. But this Friday night, their "homecoming" may prove to be their toughest challenge to date, as they will be facing another veteran of WWE TV ring wars, formerly one-half of the monstrous WWE tag-team known as The Headshrinkers, and a member of wrestling's famous Samoan family of superstars, the great Samu, as he teams up with a veteran of both wrestling holds and practical jokes, The Famous TV Wrestling Clown.

Plus in action will be NWS Heavyweight Champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc, The Commandos (former WWE developmental protege "Too Cocky" Kevin Matthews & NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans), "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, Chikara Wrestling star Frightmare, tough guy Jack Spade, and the NWS debuts of J.C. The Outpatient and "Cannonball" Jeff Guerriero.

Ticket prices are only $18 for adults and $16 for kids & seniors, and are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704. Remaining seats, if any, will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time.
