VCCW IN TEXAS RETURNING TO ACTION THIS WEEK by Mike Johnson @ 2:10 PM on 3/17/2010
This is the last event before the 2010 Quest for the Crown Tournament Sat
April 24th when we will crown the the best singles wrestler in VCCW!
We have been on a long and winding road the last six months since the debut of
VCCW and the start of the QFTC tournament and it has created many fantastic
encounters and has also been pinnacle in defining the direction of several of
our competitors careers going into our 2010 inaugural tournament!
We have seen the fire between JT Lamotta and longtime rival Andy Dalton return
like an inferno in our squared circle and we believe neither man knew what kind
of toll this was to take on their career aspirations here in VCCW. Someday soon
though, these men will have to settle their score and move on to other
competition.
The brutal and unfortunate accident that has temporarily blinded Veronica Vance
and has made bitter enemies out of James Johnson and Mitch Carter has sent both
of these competitors off the path of competition in VCCW. As a matter of fact,
James Johnson has forfeited his spot in the QFTC Tournament in exchange for a
non tournament match against Mitch Carter SAT April 24th! Hopefully this will
not negatively impact any of the great competition we will be seeing that
evening as both of these men have a real chance at doing something great in VCCW
and allowing emotions to spill outside the confines of the ring would be a shame
to all involved.
We have also seen the formation of a team that quite possibly cannot be called
anything other than "Perfectcellence"(Their own Moniker) in the Winnipeg Wonder
Robert Evans and The Beast Franco D'Angelo. We saw the two of these men unleash
their super union in January when D'Angelo came to the aid of Robert Evans who
had just fallen to the Underground Icon Scot Summers and the first ever face to
face stand off took place between the Icon and the Beast. Now it seems that we
have a Super Feud brewing between two of the most accomplished and rising stars
in the Southwest. Both of these men will be competing at the 2010 Quest for the
Crown Tournament on Sat Apr 24th!
