The front office in River City Wrestling (RCW) once again shakes things up... and the Alissa Flash-Joey Spector saga continues!
On Sunday, July 25, Co-Commissioners Jeromy Sage & Ray The Voice argued in front of RCW Owner Brandon Oliver. The end result was that Ray blocked Hernandez from appearing at the August 7 show... but in response, Oliver moved the Alissa Flash-Joey Spector match, originally set for September, up one month and "Battle of the Sexes III" for the RCW Championship will take place on Saturday, August 7 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1630 Goliad Rd in San Antonio, TX. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the event begins at 8 p.m.
Recently, Alissa Flash responds regarding being stripped of the RCW Championship... and issues a challenge to Joey "Super Shot" Spector!
This all started on Saturday, July 3, 2010, when Alissa
Flash (Cheerleader Melissa) made River City Wrestling history by winning the RCW Championship over Joey "Super Shot" Spector in
San Antonio, Texas. Flash won this match, billed as "Battle of the Sexes II," to the delight of more than 300 fans in attendance. The video of her victory, which is available at
http://www.youtube.com/rcwvideo or by going to
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZPdphZ5jig has already received more than 4,400 views.
However, on Monday, July 12, "
Black Monday" struck
River City Wrestling. The Commissioner of RCW -- Jeromy Sage -- revealed a contractual oversight that was caught by a new authority within the company... new Co-Commissioner Ray The Voice!. This oversight and new authority will rock RCW to its very core -- and renders Flash's victory as null and void and thus the title returns to Joey Spector!
