National Wrestling Superstars Announces More Fall Dates, A Former NWS Champion Who's Now A TV Star Makes His Return, And More

Hello NWS fans! This is your weekly update on what's happened, what is happening now, and what is going to happen soon in the nation's leading family-friendly pro wrestling promotion, National Wrestling Superstars.


Upcoming Shows This Weekend

No shows this weekend. NWS will return to action on Friday night September 24th in Somerset, NJ, followed by two mini-shows on Saturday September 25th in Edison, NJ. (See details below.)

Fans can sign up to receive emails to all upcoming NWS events by sending their email address to nwswrestling@gmail.com. These emails are sent out about a week prior to any and all shows and is a great way to keep in touch with your favorite promotion.

Other Upcoming Shows

Friday night September 24th, NWS debuts at the East Franklin Township Vounteer Fire Company Hall (121 Pine Grove Avenue, just off Franklin Boulevard & Easton Avenue, minutes from Route 18), with a 7:45pm bell time.
And topping the bill will be a true former WWE legend and hall-of-famer, recently seen on WWE and ECW TV, none other than "Mr. U.S.A" Tony Atlas himself, muscles and all.Also on the card is another sight to behold, a tag-team that is becoming legendary in their own right in the Northeast, the 900+ pound undefeated tag-team The Nigerian Nightmares (Ma-Fu & Sna-Fu), led by Voodoo Princess Sheeta. Also on the card will be NWS Heavyweight Champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc, NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans, "The Atomic Dog" Hasheem Ali, "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, plus special guest manager from the East Franklin Fire Company The Big Elvis, and much more. Tickets are only $18 for adults and $15 for kids and seniors.
 
Saturday September 25th, NWS makes its annual appearance as part of the 2010 Edison Township Fall Family Spectacular, at Lake Papaianni Park (100 Municipal Boulevard, just off Route 27, minutes from I-287) with two mini-shows at 4:00pm and 7:30pm.
Legendary WWE TV star "Mr. U.S.A" Tony Atlas will be on hand to greet the fans in Edison, along with NWS Heavyweight Champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc, NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks, NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans, and much more.
Admission to the shows, and the entire Fall Family Spectacular, is free to all.
 
Friday night October 1st, NWS returns to Long Hill Township Community Center (264 Warren Avenue in Stirling, NJ, just off Valley Road, minutes from Route I-78), with a 7:45pm bell time.
After a highly successful debut last June, NWS will raise the bar even higher with not just one, but two TV wrestling legends. First off, a former WWE and ECW star, now appearing on TNA Wrestling TV, Stevie Richards (a.k.a Dr. Stevie), will be in Stirling. And if that weren't exciting enough, former WWE TV superstar "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, two-by-four in hand, will light up the ring. Also on the card, Voodoo Princess Sheeta will lead her 900+ pound undefeated tag-team The Nigerian Nightmares (Ma-Fu & Sna-Fu) into action. There will also be an appearance by the NWS Tag-Team Champions, plus special guest ring announcers the Honorable Mayor Emeritus Al Licata and Officer Gary Bauer. Tickets are only $20, and all seats are ringside.
 
Saturday night October 2nd, NWS returns to the always sold-out Brick, NJ Elks Lodge (2491 Hooper Avenue, minutes from the Brick Plaza and the Parkway), with a 7:35pm bell time.
NWS' appearances in Brick are always tops, and on this night NWS will top the bill with no less than three current and former TV wrestling superstars. First off, Ken Doane, better known to fans as former WWE star and Spirit Squad member Kenny Dykstra, will make his first ever appearance for NWS. Plus, a former NWS superstar who "made good" and is now appearing on Ring of Honor TV, Rhett "The Threat" Titus, makes his return to NWS. And last, and certainly not least, former WWE TV superstar "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, two-by-four in hand, will light up the ring in Brick.Also on the card, Voodoo Princess Sheeta will lead her 900+ pound undefeated tag-team The Nigerian Nightmares (Ma-Fu & Sna-Fu) into action, plus an appearance by the NWS Heavyweight Champion, and much more. Tickets are only $21 for adults and $19 for kids and seniors.
