National Wrestling Superstars Returns To Action This Weekend As A True "Carny" Promotion, More Shows Announced For October With Multitudes Of Current & Former TV Superstars, And More
Hello NWS fans! This is your weekly update on what's happened, what is happening now, and what is going to happen soon in the nation's leading family-friendly pro wrestling promotion, National Wrestling Superstars.
Upcoming Shows This Weekend
This Friday night September 24th, NWS debuts at the East Franklin Township Vounteer Fire Company Hall (121 Pine Grove Avenue, just off Franklin Boulevard & Easton Avenue, minutes from Route 18), with a 7:45pm bell time.
And headlining this super card will be a former WWE and ECW TV superstar and a ring legend for more than three decades, the one and only Mr. U.S.A" Tony Atlas. In addition, the 900+ pound Nigerian Nightmares (Ma-Fu & Sna-Fu), led by Voodoo Princess Sheeta, will be in action, literally looking for fresh meat in Somerset. NWS champions will also abound in Somerset, including NWS Heavyweight Champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc, NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans, and the brand new NWS Cruiserweight Champion Mighty Mikey Pacifica. Also on the card will be "The Atomic Dog" Hasheem Ali, "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, "The Debonair Millionaire" Darius Carter, and special guest manager from the East Franklin Fire Company The Big Elvis, and much more.
Tickets are only $18 for adults and $15 for kids and seniors.
This Saturday September 25th, NWS makes its annual appearance as part of the 2010 Edison Township Fall Family Spectacular, at Lake Papaianni Park (100 Municipal Boulevard, just off Route 27, minutes from I-287) with two mini-shows at 4:00pm and 7:30pm.
Always hailed as the ultimate "carny" promotion, NWS is proud to be a featured attraction of this annual event year after year.
And this year, legendary WWE TV star "Mr. U.S.A" Tony Atlas will be on hand to greet the fans in Edison, along with NWS Heavyweight Champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc, NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks, NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans, and much more. Admission to the shows, and the entire Fall Family Spectacular, is free to all.

Other Upcoming Shows
Friday night October 1st, NWS returns to Long Hill Township Community Center (264 Warren Avenue in Stirling, NJ, just off Valley Road, minutes from Route I-78), with a 7:45pm bell time.
The fans will benefit from not just one, but two former TV wrestling stars. First off, former WWE and ECW TV star, now appearing on Spike TV's TNA Wrestling, Stevie Richards (a.k.a Dr. Stevie), will enter the squared circle in Stirling. And if that wasn’t enough, also parading his way down to the ring with his patented two-by-four in hand will be former WWE TV star "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan.Fans of tag-team action will get their fill, as tag-teams of all shapes and sizes will abound in Stirling. The team with the most size and shape in the Northeast, the 900+ pound undefeated Nigerian Nightmares (Ma-Fu & Sna-Fu), led by the diabolical Voodoo Princess Sheeta, will be in action, along with The B.S. Express and Los Luchadors Latinos. Even inter-gender tag-teams will see action, including the newly-crowned NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks (Mike Dennis & Chris D'Andrea), along with their new lady partner from the Jersey Shore Snookie Fly, and former champions and contenders Team Supreme ("The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans & Corvis Fear) and their equally dangerous female companion Brittney Savage. There will also be an appearance by the new NWS Cruiserweight Champion Mighty Mikey Pacifica, Jeff "Cannonball" Guerrero, "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, and Jumping Joey Janela, plus special guest ring announcers the Honorable Mayor Emeritus Al Licata and Officer Gary Bauer.Tickets are only $20, and all seats are ringside.
Saturday night October 2nd, NWS returns to the always sold-out Brick, NJ Elks Lodge (2491 Hooper Avenue, minutes from the Brick Plaza and the Parkway), with a 7:35pm bell time.
Topping the bill will be not one, not two, but *THREE* current and former TV wrestling superstars. Ken Doane, better known to fans as former WWE star and Spirit Squad member Kenny Dykstra, will make his first ever appearance for NWS in Brick. Then, making his return to NWS will be a former Jersey Shore Champion and Lacey Township resident who is now a Ring Of Honor TV star, Rhett "The Threat" Titus. And if that wasn’t enough, also parading his way down to the ring with his patented two-by-four in hand will be former WWE TV star "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. Also in Brick will be a much-anticipated NWS Heavyweight Title Match, as the champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc will face the challenge of popular Jersey Shore rising star Ray-Ray Marz, plus the NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans. Also on the card will be the beloved Jersey Shore madman Slayer and his returning manager Father Oz, the 900+ pound undefeated tag-team The Nigerian Nightmares (Ma-Fu & Sna-Fu) managed by Voodoo Princess Sheeta, and "The Atomic Dog" Hasheem Ali, "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie, Judas Young, A.C. Kewl, and much more. Tickets are only $21 for adults and $19 for kids and seniors.
Saturday night October 9th, NWS returns to its favorite central Jersey venue, the Manville V.F.W. Hall (600 Washington Avenue, just off Main Street, minutes from Routes 287 and 28) with a 7:35pm bell time.
Headlining this mega card will be no less than three former TV wrestling superstars. First of all, with his towel around his waist and a hearty "Hello ladies!" will be former WWE TV star Val Venis. And speaking of ladies, two of the most popular ladies ever to grace a wrestling ring will grace NWS' ring in Manville. We're talking about former WWE & ECW lovely Dawn Marie, and the WWE's original diva (and still the best in many fans' minds), the one and only Sunny.Also on the card will be an inter-gender tag-team bout, as the newly-crowned NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks (Mike Dennis & Chris D'Andrea) team up with their new Jersey Shore girl Snookie Fly to take on the team of Total Entertainment ("The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans & "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie) and veteran ladies star Brittney Savage.The newly crowned NWS Cruiserweight Champion Mighty Mikey Pacifica will also be in Manville, and he will have a tall order on his hands as he defends his title in a rematch against the former champion he won it from, Jumping Joey Janella. And speaking of high-flying cruiserweights, two of the best from Chikara Pro Wrestling will battle it out as Frightmare takes on Colony Ant.Also on the card will be the 900+ pound undefeated tag-team The Nigerian Nightmares (Ma-Fu & Sna-Fu) with their manager Voodoo Princess Sheeta, Ring of Honor star Rhett "The Threat" Titus, The Inferno Kid, and much more. Tickets are only $20 for adults and $18 for kids and seniors.
Saturday night October 16th, NWS returns to the Union, NJ area at the Union Elks Lodge (281 Chestnut Street, at Route 509, just off the Parkway) with a 7:35pm bell time.
This card is already shaping up to be probably the biggest card ever in the area. Not only will the newly-crowned NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks (Mike Dennis & Chris D'Andrea) put their titles on the line for the first time against The Mad Men (Nick Talent & "Too Hot" Steve Scott), but none other than former WWE & ECW star, and current TNA Wrestling TV star Al Snow, along with his lovable sidekick Head, will face off against a mystery opponent that night.
Also on bill will be a tag-team match of epic proportions, as the 900 pounds of humanity known as the undefeated Nigerian Nightmares (Ma-Fu & Sna-fu) take on a pair of former WWE Samoan Family superstars Sammy Anoa'i Fatu and Matt Anoa'i (better known to fans as The Tonga Kid & Rosey) in a bout that's being billed as pro wrestling's "rumble in the jungle".All this & more.
