CBC RADIO COVERS UIPW AND UNION IN CANADA

This past weekend, CBC Radio One (Canada's national public broadcaster) aired a documentary piece called "Eat This Punch" on it's weekly news and culture programme, The Sunday Edition. The 17 minute piece dealt with the recent UNION of Independent Professional Wrestlers show in Toronto which was cancelled when the ring did not arrive at the venue in time. The documentary spotlights UIPW promoter Anthony Kingdom James and features interviews with several UNION Workers including "Big Ticket" Reggie Marley, "Midnight Special" RJ City, "El Secta de Uno" Rico Montana and "Custom Made" Mark Miller. It's a raw and honest look at the sometimes troublesome process of promoting an independent wrestling event.
