National Wrestling Superstars prides itself on presenting family-friendly pro wrestling for all ages, but on occasions they have successfully played to the over-18 crowd, as they did on Thursday night October 14th when they returned to Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ for a private "Rowan After Hours" show for the great students of Rowan University. And a greatly energetic crowd turned out once again.
- In the opening contest, a battle with literally "much mo(o)re", Philadelphia's Devon Moore defeated luchador Manuel Manny Moore.
- In a tag-team contest, NWS Heavyweight Champion "Corrupted" Corey Havoc & "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie defeated Team High Fliers (NWS Cruiserweight Champion Mighty Mikey Pacifica & former champion Jumping Joey Janela). Pacifica & Janela appeared to have the upper hand early, but their rivalry for the Cruiserweight Title quickly broke down their partnership, and Janela ended up laying out his own partner, who was pinned 1-2-3 after a Leg Drop From Across The Delaware by Smoothie.
- The Nigerian Nightmares (Ma-Fu & Sna-Fu, with manager Voodoo Princess Sheeta & "career advisor" Nicky Oceans) defeated The Zoo World Order ("Big Furry" Tiger Nash & "The Baaaaad Guy" Goat Hall, with former WWE star Eugene in their corner). Eugene claimed that Nicky Oceans was not contracted to be out there, and Commissioner Moore agreed and ordered him to the back. It hardly made much difference as The Nightmares easily squashed the out-sized and out-powered ZWO and easily pinned them. After the match, Nicky Oceans returned to the ring and attacked Eugene. Commissioner Moore announced that Eugene and Oceans would meet in the main event.
- WSU Spirit Champion Brittney Savage retained her title against Nikki Starr.
- In the main event, former WWE star Eugene defeated "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans.
National Wrestling Superstars returned to Union, NJ's Elks Lodge on Saturday night October 16th. After a blow-out show last summer, the area fans had been clamoring for NWS to return to the area sooner rather than later, and they made their appreciation known as a near-capacity crowd filled the venue with loud and energetic fans.
- In the opening contest, an inter-gender tag-team match, Justin Cage & TNA Wrestling's Miss Tessmacher defeated NWS Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Love Machine" Nicky Oceans & Niya. Miss Tessmacher made for a talented (and appreciated) assistant to Cage, as the two of them befuddled both Oceans and Niya as Justin took out Niya with a Michinoku Driver and Miss Tessmacher planted Oceans into the mat with a Tornado DDT to get the three-count.
- In a battle of the big men, "Cannonball" Jeff Guerrero (with "career advisor" Danny Inferno) defeated Mister Nick Gregory. Gregory held the edge in experience, but it was Inferno's presence on the outside that was the determining factor, as after countless incidents of outside interference, he tripped up Gregory from outside, right into a schoolboy rollup by Cannonball and the 1-2-3.
- In a grudge match between former friends, "Tough" Tony Scorace vs. Steve "The Little Gipper" Gipki ended in a double-disqualification. Both men tore into each other from the start, and their series of high-flying holds and kicks kept the fans on the edge of their seats. Neither man would give ground, and the two ended up taking their fight outside the ring where they were both counted out by the referee. The two men kept on brawling despite NWS officials' efforts to separate them, until NWS Commissioner Gino Moore threatened them with instant suspension. He also announced that the two would have a rematch when NWS returned to nearby Kenilworth in December, and that match would be a No-Disqualification Falls-Count-Anywhere bout.
- In a tag-team match, the team of "Mr. Entertainment" J.D. Smoothie & Corvis Fear defeated "Hillbilly" Justin Blackwell & Snake-Eyez. Before the match, Smoothie shocked the crowd by announcing that, as he hated all the NWS officials, he had secretly filed paperwork to name his own special referee, none other than Danny Inferno. Commissioner Moore reluctantly agreed that the paperwork was legitimate, and Inferno came to the ring with the striped shirt and began the match. This was hardly a match, as Inferno was, as expected, as much a partner to Smoothie and Fear as a referee. In the end, Inferno refused to allow a weakened Snake-Eyez to tag in his partner, and he was finished off by a superkick from Corvis and a flying splash from Smoothie before Inferno made the quick 1-2-3. Not content with the tainted victory, Smoothie and Fear and Inferno continued to attack Blackwell and Snake-Eyez until former ECW & WWE star Al Snow (and Head) ran into the ring and chased the attackers out. Snow challenged Inferno to a one-on-one match in the Main Event, and Commissioner Moore was only too happy to sign the match.
- NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks (Mike Dennis & Chris D'Andrea) win their first title defense against challengers The Mad Men ("Too Hot" Steve Scott & Nick Talent). D'Andrea came out on crutches, due to an injury suffered while playing football for Montclair State University. The Mad Men insisted that the Jocks forfeit the titles right there, but Commissioner Moore allowed D'Andrea the option of naming a substitute for the night, who turned out to be NWS Jersey Shore Champion "G.Q." Myke Quest, returning to action after an injury. Quest and Dennis immediately charged the ring, and the match turned into a thrilling all-out fight that went back and forth. After Dennis survived several minutes of double-teaming, including a double-team Codebreaker, Quest was tagged in and cleaned house, and he and Dennis planted Nick Talent into the mat with a flying knee-backbreaker combo for the 1-2-3. D'Andrea thanked Quest for taking his place, and promised he would be back in action by the time NWS returned to nearby Kenilworth in December.
- In the first of two main event matches, a tag-team match billed as a "rumble in the jungle", The Nigerian Nightmares (Ma-Fu & Ga-Ga, with Voodoo Princess Sheeta) defeated former WWE Samoan stars The Tonga Kid & "Superhero-In-Training" Rosie. The Nightmares were matched for size and power, and the match was a 2000-pound brawl from start to finish, with neither team able to completely dominate their opponents enough to finish them off. After Ma-Fu had been thrown off the top rope by Rosie (yes, thrown) and Ga-Ga had been butt-first avalanched in the corner by Tonga Kid, Princess Sheeta began to worry that her Nightmares would suffer their first defeat, and in a stunning move, she jumped into the ring and bewitched the referee. The fans were bewitched as well, but some of them swore to have seen a third Nigerian Nightmare enter the fray. In any case, this was enough to allow the Nightmares to regain the upper hand, and Ma-Fu put down Tonga Kid with (appropriately enough) a Samoan Drop to get the 1-2-3. Rosie and Tonga were furious at this turn of events, and continued to attack the Nightmares, the officials, and wrestlers from the NWS locker room who came out to try and stop them, littering the ring with fallen bodies before finally exiting.
- In the second main event match, former ECW & WWE star Al Snow (with Head) defeated Danny Inferno. After Inferno spent much time arguing about Head being placed outside the ring to avoid outside interference, the referee finally got Al to put Head in a corner, and the match finally began. Inferno took the fight to Snow, and an all-out brawl took place insidem the ring. After a lot of back and forth action, Al seized Head to assist him in finishing off Inferno, but the referee stopped him, and in the confusion Inferno took down Snow and seized Head himself. After taunting Snow, Inferno placed Head in the center of the ring and prepared to kick a field goal with Head, but Snow stopped him. Inferno then attempted to throw Snow into the referee, but Snow reversed the attempt, and in the confusion was able to seize Head and level Inferno with it, knocking him out and getting the three-count to send the crowd home happy.
