HAYWARD, CALIF. (APW) – Former APW Universal Heavyweight Champion Dylan Drake wants to regain his title. The problem is, he contractually barred from earning another shot at the title for as long as it is held by “The Boss” Derek Sanders. However, he may have found a work-around: The Rumble Rules match. The winner of this match can make whatever match he wishes for Kristmas Kaos 2010, so if Drake were to win this match, he would be able to make the match to face Sanders one more time for the APW Universal title.
Of course, for that to happen, Derek Sanders would need to actually be the APW Universal Heavyweight Champion, but standing in his way was “Big Country” Jody Kristofferson. The “Son of a Highway Man” was supposed to challenge for the title back at Halloween Hell XIII in October, but Sanders was able to have the match postponed due to circumstances which have not been made public. Now, the young Kristofferson finally had his chance to take the title away from “The Boss”. Do we have a new Heavyweight Champion, and if so, what would this mean for the winner of the Rumble Rules match?
The World Wide Internet Championship was on the line, as Champion “Out of Control” Matt Carlos defended against the self-professed personification of wrestling, Rik Luxury.
Of course, the main event, the Rumble Rules match, featured twenty All Pro Wrestling superstars, starting with two men and having another join in until all twenty have entered, and the only way to be eliminated is to be thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. The winner can make any match he wants at Kristmas Kaos 2010 next month.
The event began with a video showing Larry Blackwell, as he was begging to “experience” the power that Corvus has given to OMEGA and Darkness. Blackwell's manager, Matthew Theall, stated that he wanted no part of this, but that he would not stand in the way of the wishes of his prized client. Corvus then sprayed his mist into the face of Blackwell, who began screaming in pain. Moments later, Blackwell rose, revealing a new and sinister look. Corvus then stated that soon, he would set the “true Jeckles” free.
Opening Match
Levi Shaprio
-vs-
Vennis DeMarco
Shaprio made his All Pro Wrestling debut here, taking on the veteran DeMarco. Fans were impressed with the skill and toughmess that Shaprio displayed in the ring, but his arrogance turned them off. While it was a tough match, DeMarco picked up the win after hitting his variation of the Bulldog, which he calls the Face Spank.

Dylan Drake
-vs.-
“The Russian Wolf”
Alexis Darevko
The powerful Russian made it difficult for Drake, but the former APW Champ fought with the spirit that we're used to seeing from him, eventually scoring the submission victory with the “Bay to Breaker”, his variant of the Sharpshooter.
Match Time: 6:45
Following the match, All Pro Wrestling's Jason Anderson caught up with Drake for a quick in-ring interview, where Drake made no secrets about his goal, which is to once again become the APW Champion. Step one would be to win the Rumble Rules match later on in the evening, which would allow him to make whatever match he wanted at next month's Kristmas Kaos event. Not surprisingly, the match he would make would be for him to get one more shot at either current Champion Derek Sanders, or possibly against Jody Kristofferson. When asked about the possibility of facing Kristofferson, Drake stated that he would love to wrestle Kristofferson for the title because unlike the current Champion, he would be in the ring with someone with honor and integrity.
Winner by Submission:
Dylan Drake
Singles Match
Mr. Wrestling #4
-vs.-
“The Internet Sensation”
Brandon P .Net
This match saw the former Internet Champion take on the self-professed Internet Sensation. Securing a win over #4 would definitely back up Brandon P's designs on the World Wide Internet Championship. However, #4 caused those plans to crash, nailing the Million Dollar Kneelift, and at least for now, denying Brandon P access to the contender's list—403.

Mr. Wrestling #4
All Pro Wrestling's Jason Anderson interviewed the APW Universal Heavyweight Champion, “The Boss” Derek Sanders, and talked with him about the announced “punishment” of Will Rood. Sanders said that at first, he wanted to punish his protégé for not following orders and taking out Jody Kristofferson back at Halloween Hell XIII. However, Sanders decided to instead allow Rood to redeem himself by entering him into the Rumble Rules match with the specific purpose of eliminating Dylan Drake. If Rood failed to do so, then Sanders said the punishment would proceed.
Singles Match
“Rock Legend SCUM”
Adam Thornstowe
-vs.-
“The British Messiah”
Timothy Thatcher
Two of Northern California's best... ok, so Thornstowe is from Reno and Thatcher is from the U.K., but whatever... this match came to an end when Thatcher forced the former APW Universal Champion to submit to the painful “Thatcher Stretch”.
Match Time: 8:17
Following the match, Jason Anderson interviewed Thatcher, and the former World Wide Internet Champion stated that he is refocused, and now has his sights set on the APW Universal Heavyweight Championship.

Jeckles The Jester
-vs.-
OMEGA
w/ Corvus & Darkness
This show began with Corvus promising to set the “real Jeckles” free. Near the end of the match, Jeckles had OMEGA set up for the “Joke-Slam”, his modified Chokeslam, when Corvus climbed up onto the ring apron and attempted to spray his mist into the face of Jeckles. Jeckles put his arm up to block the mist, and as the referee called for the disqualification, Jeckles still nailed OMEGA with the Joke-Slam. On the mat, however, Jeckles mysteriously passed out. Corvus, OMEGA, and Darkness attempted to cause further injury to Jeckles, but fortunately, Vennis DeMarco and Mr. Wrestling #4 came back into The Garage and ran them off.
All Pro Wrestling will release an update on the condition of Jeckles The Jester as soon as they have one.
Match Time: 7:30
Winner as a result of a Disqualification:
Jeckles The Jester
APW World Wide Internet Championship
“Wrestling Personified”
Rik Luxury
w/ Markus Mac
-vs.-
APW World Wide Internet Champion
“Out of Control”
Matt Carlos
During this match, referee Sparkey Ballard was taken out of action as Luxury pulled the official in front of him, using him as a shield. During this period, referee Toby Reynolds ran in to assist, and Luxury nailed Carlos with the Back Cracker. Luxury covered, and Reynolds made the count. We have a NEW World Wide Internet Champion!
Or... do we?
As Luxury began celebrating his victory, referee Sparkey Ballard informed referee Toby Reynolds of what happened. Reynolds then made the call to have the match restarted. Luxury, along with his manager Markus Mac, began protesting this decision, allowing Matt Carlos enough time to recover, and then nail Luxury with the Union Landing. Carlos made the cover, and successfully retained his title.

Derek Sanders
w/ Will Rood
In one of the most heated matches in All Pro Wrestling history, Kristofferson hit the Spear, but on the outside, Will Rood jumped up on the ring apron. Kristofferson turned around to confront Rood, but this was a mistake, as Sanders was able to roll Kristofferson up from behind, illegally using a handful of tights to secure the pin and retain his title. All Pro Wrestling fans will have to put up with at least another month of Derek Sanders as the APW Champion.

Match Time: 42:45
Winner:
Jody Kristofferson
After the Rumble, Kristofferson stated that he would not be challenging for the APW Universal Heavyweight title again at Kristmas Kaos, as he felt that he is not ready for another shot. He will have another chance, but right now he wants to work on not only the physical part of pro wrestling, but also the mental aspects of the game to defeat a wrestler of the caliber of “The Boss”.
However, he still had won the right to make ANY match he wanted at Kristmas Kaos. Therefore, the match he made at Kristmas Kaos 2010 on December 4:
APW Universal Heavyweight Championship
APW Universal Heavyweight Champion
“The Boss”
Derek Sanders
-vs.-
Dylan Drake
Derek Sanders came out and immediately began protesting, but since the winner of the Rumble could make ANY match he wanted, there was nothing Sanders could do about it.
Frustrated with this, Sanders then began assaulting Kristofferson. Fortunately, Dylan Drake ran out and began brawling with Sanders, saving Kristofferson. With Sanders being chased out of the ring, Drake then promised that come Kristmas Kaos, he would once again be the APW Universal Heavyweight Champion.
All Pro Wrestling's final event of the year, APW Kristmas Kaos 2010, will be held at The APW Garage on December 4.
