12/17 ASW RESULTS

By Alan Wojcik on 12/18/2010 11:47 AM

On December 17th All-Stars Wrestling of Florida held its last “Full Throttle Friday” show of 2010 “Seasons Beatings” was held at Stroker’s Billiards, 11236 W. Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa, Florida.

Commissioner Don Vincent thanked everyone for coming to our version of a holiday office party.

(1) “1st Generation star” Teigen James & Wayne Van Dyke defeated Roman Wright & D. Lee of the NuYoRicans (w/Carlos & Ramos).
When the bell rang, Lee & Wright attacked both men and sent James to the floor. They dragged Van Dyke to their side of the ring and didn’t let him leave for several moments. James did his best to cheer his partner on but it took Lee making a mistake for James to be tagged in. when he was tagged, he cleared the ring using his high flying offense. In fact James won hitting Lee with top rope blockbuster. After the bell Lee & Wright traded heated words which led to a physical exchange back towards the locker room.

(2) World’s Largest All-Nighters (Shooter Storm & Joey Knight) defeated the Highwaymen (Marc Mandrake & Butch Long w/Santa Ferrari, Santa Bones & Donnie York)
I need to apologize because it was actually a reluctant Santa Mandrake. The All-Nighters came dressed as well…Elves. They made a peace offering to Long, a Santa hat. Both teams had control of the contest, but it wasn’t until Long hit Storm with a powerslam that the tied turned. The Santa stuff stopped and the Highwaymen got down to butt whipping. But Storme held off defeat long enough to slide out of a Long bodyslam and tag out to Knight. Knight had control until “Handsome” Jason Handley made his way to ringside. That distraction allowed the Highwaymen to briefly take over. But Handley got their attention by yelling on the house mic. The All-Nighters won by rolling up Long & Mandrake. After the bell and after making fun of Christmas, both teams attacked Handley. Ferrari busted a box of candy canes on Handley’s head as he laid prone in the ring.

Francisco Ciatso came out for the In the 5th installment of the “I’ll Make You Famous” challenge claming no one in Florida could beat him. That brought out the “Emerald Emperor” Simon Sez who said like Ciasto, he was undefeated in ASW. He had a surprise for Ciatso, Afroboy!

(3) In the 5th installment of the “I’ll Make You Famous” challenge, Francisco Ciatso defeated Afroboy.
Afroboy didn’t waste time, he attacked Ciatso with several armdrags and chest chops. Ten punches in the corner followed but Ciatso survived and hit an elbow to Afroboy’s jaw. The action went to the floor where Ciatso slammed Afroboy on the floor. Finally the match came back to the ring where Ciatso ducked a punch and hit Afroboy with the K5.

(4) ASW Florida Elite champion “Dancin’ Machine” Bobby Fonta defeated Super Grover.
Before the match even started Kennedy & Camey Kendrick came out to sit ringside and observe the title encounter. Both men traded mat moves but it was Fonta who actually physically tied up Grover. But instead of dropping an elbow, Fonta freed Grover. It happened a second time but this time Grover held onto Fonta’s hand into an armdrag. The mat wrestling continued as Fonta tied up Grover with his singlet top. All this seemed to do was make Grover loose his cool. Grover took over with European forearm shots and a knee drop for two. Grover hit a snap suplex for two and locked in a rear chinlock. Fonta fought to his feet only to be backdropped to the ring apron. Grover went after him but missed and fell to the floor. Grover was nearly counted out so Fonta went after him and shockingly allowed Grover to enter the ring, allowing the referee to check the apparently injured shoulder. When Fonta let his guard down, it allowed Grover to unleash his pent up anger. Grover went on the attack despite the injury but got caught in the ropes where Fonta hit a modified Back Cracker followed by an enziguri and snap neckbreaker for two. Fonta was in total control hitting his Dancin’ Machine fist drop but his bulldog was countered into a Grover Driver for two. Both men fought to their feet trading chest chops and punches but it was Grover who blocked a sunset flip and won by sitting down on Grover. After the match, Fonta & Grover shook hands as the Kendrick’s paced around ringside. When Grover left the ring, Kennedy jumped into the ring with the chair ready to strike, but Grover stopped him. Fonta turned around to see it go down and thanked Grover for the assist. Grover thanked him by driving the Elite championship into Fonta’s face. Even as referee’s tried to break it up, Grover taunted his former friend and left with the Elite championship.

(5) ASW Heavyweight champion “the Encore” Aaron Kanye Epic defeated “the Irish Lionheart” CJ O’Doyle.
After surviving Bruce Santee last week, Epic didn’t look confident when the bell rang. Epic tried to chain wrestle but was countered on every move by O’Doyle. Epic got in O’Doyle’s face and slapped him before a questionable kick to the lower abdominal region. O’Doyle paid Epic back with several armdrags and a suplex into an overhand wristlock submission. Epic refused to submit and escaped with a knee but ran right into another hip toss. Epic escaped another wristlock but his second rope double sledge was met by O’Doyle’s knee in Epic’s gut. O’Doyle followed with chest chops but his corner shoulder block met the ringpost as he flew through the corner. Epic followed him out to the floor where he worked on O’Doyle’s injury. When the match came back to the ring, Epic began stretching out O’Doyle’s shoulder socket various submission holds. But O’Doyle kept fighting back and went toe to toe trading forearm shots with Epic in the middle of the ring. But Epic was able to take O’Doyle down to the mat again, this time in a chinlock submission. O’Doyle fought to his feet and went on the attack only to be run over by a clothesline for two. O’Doyle hit a back suplex and despite several Epic delivered bodyshots, got on the attack with a powerslam for two followed by a running boot to the jaw also for two. Epic recovered and hit two superkicks but didn’t get the pin. O’Doyle fired back with a superkick of his own for two. But when he went for an Acecrusher, Epic tossed O’Doyle into the referee. This caused the referee to fall into the corner. A second referee came out and counted Epic’s shoulders down but the original referee said the match needed to be restart and Epic attacked O’Doyle from behind as he was celebrating to get the cheap pinfall win.

(6) “Infamous” Eddie Taurus of the Uprising, Misled Youth (Jude McKenzie & Josh Rayne) & the NuYoRicans (Carlos & Ramos w/D. Lee) defeated the FXE (Simon Sez, Biff Slater, Don Maximo & ASW Tag Team champions “Prodigy” Mike Cruz & “Pretty Boy” Gu$ Money.)
These ten men had serious issues that this ring could barely contain so it was no surprise the match bean with a brawl all over the building. It saw suicide dives through the ropes and Slater tossing Money onto the brawl and Cruz using him as a launching pad. Not to be outdone, Slater did a tope’ of his own sending the other nine crashing to the floor. When things somewhat settled down it saw Sez and Rayne trading chest chops in the ring. Rayne went for a corner bodyshot but Sez hit a standing STO. However he took his eyes off Rayne who tagged in Taurus and when he turned around, Sez was taken down with a heel kick to the head. Taurus and teammates made several tags keeping the former ASW Heavyweight champion isolated from his corner. Sez was able to reverse a corner whip and hit Ramos with a belly to belly suplex. He tagged out to Cruz just as Carlos tagged in for his team. Maximo joined the fun taking Carlos down with a sidewalk slam. Cruz got back in but missed a corner splash and got tagged with a cheap shot kick from Rayne. The NYR took over on Cruz with several tags and power moves. The Misled Youth joined in with some chokes that only angered the FXE who were somehow restrained by the referee. Cruz’s torture ended when he ran into McKenzie and beat him to the corner to tag in Slater. All kinds of craziness ensued with Sez hitting his Sez Express, Maximo hitting MCKenzie with a chokeslam, Slater hitting the NY R with a shoulder block and Taurus slamming Slater to the mat. This left Sez and Taurus alone to trade punches and kicks. Sez took over an Acecrusher and the tag champions hitting a double team move for two. Cruz went up top but he was stopped when McKenzie hit him with the tag team championship belt. Things really got out of control as Taurus pinned Money while the rest of the FXE were kept from saving him. After the match Sez said the FXE was definitely screwed tonight and they would get revenge in the coming weeks.
