RPW TV TAPING REPORT WITH BULL BUCHANAN, FRANKIE VALENTINE AND MORE

By Dave Whitaker on 12/19/2010 10:30 AM

Rampage Pro Wrestling held its final TV taping of 2010 on December 18 at Johnny G's Fun Center in Warner Robins.  A decent crowd showed despite it being the last Saturday before Christmas.  They stayed hot through the evening and really popped for big things.  Results are as follows:

Taped for Rampage Rewind:  Frankie Valentine made his return to RPW and defeated Josh Storm.  After the match, he was attacked by Jimmy Rave Approved.  Rave told Valentine (who had been announced before the show as being part of a 10-man elimination tag match main event) that he would "never be Jimmy Rave Approved."  After being laid out, Rave sarcastically welcomed Valentine back.

Anthony Andrews VS Ace Haven was ruled a no-contest when the Koncrete Gorillaz (Nemesis and Fury) ran in and attacked both men.

Hour 1: The Usual Suspsects and Dr. Johnny Gayton defeated Killer Instinct  and Pain with Charlie Cash and JT Smooth.  After the match, Bobby Moore ran in and helped Pain attack Gayton.  Gayton wound up bleeding.

Mr. Jones defeated Bobby Moore (with Charlie Cash and JT Smooth) by disuqalification when Killer Instinct ran in.  Before they could do any damage, Usual Suspects ran in for the save.

J-Rod and the returning Bull Buchanan defeated RPW Heavyweight Shaun Banks and Cru Jones (Hot Like Lava.)  After the match, Buchanan got the championship belt and told Banks he was coming for it.

Hour 2: Kyle Matthews was the lone survivor of a 10-man elimination tag team match that saw Jimmy Rave Approved (Jimmy Rave, Chip Day, Mike Posey, Jeremy Vain, Corey Hollis) take on Kyle Matthews team of Matthews, Drew Adler, "Marvelous" Michael Stevens, Adrian Hawkins, and Sal Rinauro.  Rinauro was a replacement for Valentine who was announced as being out due to injury as a result of the earlier attack.

Order of Elimination: Michael Stevens.  Jimmy Rave by dq when he nailed Matthews (and the ref) with a chain.  Rave bloodied Matthews and he was helped to the back.  Drew Adler.  Hawkins and Vain were counted out in a brawl that spilled to the outside and smashed a table full of cotton candy.

Matthews, with his head bandaged, ran out as Rinauro went several minutes one on three.  He was eliminated leaving it one on three.  Matthews would elimate Day, Hollis and Posey (Posey tapped out, it looked like the Regal Strech) to win the match.  With the win, Matthews will have the opportunity to name a stipulation for an upcoming RPW match.

The promotion announced a January 15 return and plans for a supeshow on January 29.
