Two more matches have been announced for this much anticipated event,
No. 1 Contenders Match for the 123Approved.ca Open Rules Championship
"The Brickhouse" Paul Arcidi vs. "Fabulous Creebird" Kevy Chevy
This newly announced big time number one contenders match will determine who will challenge for the 123Approved.ca Open Rules Championship at the 2 Year Anniversary show. These two men both have a reputation of having two of the most hard hitting, high impact offenses in Canadian Wrestling's Elite. "The Brickhouse" is poised to became the number one contender and claim the title he was so close to winning during its inception. Current champion Rick Matthews has used dirty play on two occasions to prevent Arcidi from capturing the title and Arcidi has physically made it clear to Matthews he isn't slowling down until he get his hands on the title.
Kevy Chevy looks to re-create the momentum he lost once unity in the Fabulous Creebirds started going south. On the same night his fellow Creebird Billy Blaze challenges Rick Matthews for the Open Rules title. If both Blaze and Chevy are victorious the two Creebirds will do battle at the anniversary show with the title on the line. These two have on the verge of blowing up at each other and this may very well present them opportunity to blow off their steam in the ring against each other. So many possibilities and so much action on January 7th!
Tyler Colton & Tommy Lee Curtis vs. Antonio Scorpio Jr. & "The Enforcer" JP Kaos w/"The Canadian Loose Cannon" TJ Bratt
"The Canadian Loose Cannon" TJ Bratt has created a nightmare for CWE officials and wrestlers since returning with the mission statement of destroying the company he feels shunned him a year a go. Bratt secured the service of perhaps the best team in Canadian wrestling Team Impact to make his statement but it has become very clear he never intended on stopping there as it was quickly revealed he had a "hired gun" in Antonio Scorpio Jr. waiting in the wings. Scorpio left Zack Mercury laying bloody and beaten and to not be seen since. Just when everyone thought the attacks were over "The Enforcer" JP Kaos jumped the guard rail at the last event with a kendo stick in hand and laid a violent beating on "Prime Cut" Jon Cutler which is reportedly going to leave Cutler on the shelf for many months. Bratt's confidence is at an all time high as he wants to show off his two latest soldiers in his self created war.
The two young guns of CWE, Tyler Colton and Tommy Lee Curtis are stepping up to the plate to try and fight off Scorpio and the debuting JP Kaos. Colton went toe to toe with Scorpio in November and received a brutal beating for his efforts. Not wanting to back down and with the desire to prove himself to the CWE crew Colton has enlisted TLC to back him up to take another run at it. Every time Bratt has wanted to make a statement it has resulted in Scorpio or Kaos dishing out large amounts of violence to those in their way. Can Colton and TLC survive!?
