1/21 ASW RESULTS FROM TAMPA, FL

By Alan Wojcik on 1/22/2011 11:47 AM

ASW Full Throttle returned to Strokers Billiards, 11236 W. Hillsborough Ave.

Tampa, Florida on January 21st. During the evening a collection was taken to assist ASW star Johnny Armani who is recovering from a major medical scare.

ASW Chain Reaction’s Sean LaFlash introduced the Uprising to the live crowd. But only “the Infamous” Eddie Taurus came to ringside. Taurus said Eric Cooper was home resting due to a head injury. Taurus said he had some words to say about his opponent Simon Sez. Sez decided to hear the words so he came out to confront Taurus. Sez said these people used to idolize Eddie and now because he is with Cooper he is a piece of trash. Sez said every time they have face off Taurus has been on the losing end and tonight would be no different, his near 3 yr ASW undefeated streak would be remaining intact. Taurus cut Sez off during the end of his tirade, telling Sez the streak ends tonight no matter what!

(1) In the first ever ASW Starlette’s match Cookie defeated “the Queen of the Highway” Ferrari.

Ferrari’s opponent was supposed to have been Jelena, but ASW Commissioner Don Vinnie came out to say she was unable to appear due to a traffic issue. Vinnie said he had and opponent but she would only compete in a “bra & panties” match. Camey Kendrick came out and said she was not going to be taking her clothes off for no one but Kennedy. This led to the appearance of Cookie who won by stripping Ferrari to her underwear.

(2) Roman Wright defeated “the Heavy Metal Hero” Jimmy Whiplash.

Wright tried to intimidate Whiplash but it had little effect as Whiplash clotheslined Wright to the floor. Whiplash’s idea was to follow him out but Whiplash had his feet pulled out under the bottom rope. Wright went to work on Whiplash’s neck with some legal and illegal holds. Whiplash fought out of a chinlock hitting a dropkick that sent Wright to the floor. Whiplash went out this time on his own, delivering some punches. Wright went back to the ring where he was hit with a top rope bodyblock. However his next move was reversed and Wright ended the evening with a boot to the face. While Wright was posing for the fans, Paradox and a folding chair came to the ring to try and exact revenge on Wright.

(3) In the “I’ll Make You Famous Challenge” Francisco Ciatso defeated “Handsome” Jason Handley.

Before the match Ciatso made the claim he was the only undefeated star in ASW, obviously missing Simon Sez’s conversation earlier with Eddie Taurus. Once Handley got to the ring Ciatso goaded him on the mic and then tried to beat the crap out of him. But Ciatso’s backdrop was countered by Handley and a well placed boot. Handley went for a corner splash but Ciatso moved and hit the K5 to end it. As usual Ciatso was not satisfied so he tossed Handley to the floor for some back chops. ASW security had to break it up and assist Handley to the locker room.

(4) In a fatal fourway match, ASW Florida Elite champion “Dancing Machine” Bobby Fonta defeated Grover, Damien Angel & Kennedy Kendrick (w/Camey.)

As soon as Fonta hit the ring, Grover hit the pavement and ran out of the ring straight to the locker room. This left Angel and Kendrick to fight around ringside. Fonta chased Grover out of the locker room and into the ring where Fonta got in some shots before Grover slid out again. The chase ensued once more but Kendrick saw enough and decked Fonta with a clothesline. The action made its way back to the ring where Kendrick dumped Fonta after Fonta dumped Grover. This allowed Angel to sneak up and roll up Kendrick for two. Grover came back to take over on Angel but he got decked with a forearm shot for two. Fonta got back in and traded shots with Angel while the Kendrick’s took cheap shots on Grover who was on the floor. Kendrick came back and decked Fonta only to be speared by Angel who was driven to the mat by Grover. Grover was jumped by Fonta who hit a double arm DDT and thanks to a Kendrick superkick, Fonta fell on top of Grover for the win. Kendrick stood at ringside in total confusion as he let a title slip through his hands.

Sean LaFlash called on his next guests, the Misled Youth; Jude McKenzie & Josh Rayne along with an empty cardboard box. McKenzie reminded the fans about last week’s vicious attack on Alex Decay last week with a logger’s chain. McKenzie was going to give a eulogy but had another surprise. A black body bag was brought to the ring. Something was inside, according to Jude it was a collection of Decay’s belongings. Some items were pulled out like the ASW Virus championship, a former tag team championship belt and Lucille. McKenzie was going to give a funeral pyre but he got a surprise in the bag, ALEX DECAY. McKenzie tossed Rayne in the way and he took a superkick to the face. Decay said next week McKenzie would be facing him in a loser leaves ASW dog collar match.

(5) The Highwaymen (Butch Long & Marc Mandrake w/Ferrari) defeated the James Boys (Luke & Rich)

The Highwaymen accused the James’s of gimmick infringement despite the duo being from Oklahoma. When the bell rang the four men brawled around ringside and back again. Referee JW Anderson tried to maintain order but he had no success as the Highwaymen kept on beating down the James’. Finally order was restored and the Highwaymen isolated Rich until Mandrake missed a second rope legdrop. That allowed the James’ to get to work on the injury with legal and illegal moves. Mandrake did his best to hold off defeat and thanks to a miscue on the James’ part; he tagged out to a well rested and angered Long. Luke got dumped to the floor which led to the Highwaymen beating down Rich. Luke grabbed the flag from Ferrari but before he could enter the ring, Ferrari tripped him up making Luke smack his face on the ring apron. Long won the match for his team hitting a top rope leg drop on the prone Rich.

(6) “The Infamous” Eddie Taurus of the Uprising defeated “Emerald Emperor” Simon Sez of the FXE.

If the tension last week between Sez and “the Essential” Eric Cooper was white hot, this was a nuclear meltdown between Sez and Taurus. After some trash talking and strutting by Sez, the duo finally locked up and it was Sez who controlled things with some body shots. Taurus slid to the floor and Sez followed tossing a pitcher of beer in Taurus’ face. When the action came back to the ring Taurus got some payback with chest chops and punches only to have them tossed back at him. Taurus went down and claimed a knee injury long enough that Sez let down his guard. That allowed Taurus to tag Sez with a superkick for two. Taurus kept on the attack with shots to Sez’s chest and neck. Sez tried to fight back with a rollup for two but was hit immediately with an elbow to the chin. Taurus went up but missed a headbutt that allowed Sez to hit a modified Lethal Combination. Both men fought to their feet but it was Sez who was the aggressor with several double ax handle body shots. Sez followed with some double knee shots to Taurus’ face for two. Taurus fought back with a back suplex for two and countered the Sez Express with a powerslam for two. Sez blocked a superkick and hit one of his own before hitting the Sez Express but Francisco Ciatso pulled referee Jimmie Mac to the floor. Ciatso got Sez’s attention long enough for Taurus to hit a low blow and his finisher to end the Sez streak dead in its tracks.

(7) FXE members Biff Slater & ASW Tag Team champion “the Prodigy” Mike Cruz defeated the Misled Youth (Jude McKenzie & Josh Rayne.)

Originally this was supposed to be the Latin Assassins defending the ASW Tag Team championship but only Mike Cruz came to ringside. Cruz told the fans that Money was attacked in the locker room and could not compete, but he told Don Vinnie he would take on anyone. So he found a partner, Biff Slater in his old school Wayne Chrebet NY Jets jersey. Thanks to a bet with Sean LaFlash a New England Patriots fan, Biff made him wear the jersey and give the Jets cheer! The Misled Youth didn’t care about a football game, they came looking for championships. Too bad Cruz didn’t want to relinquish his belt and he dropkicked Rayne nearly out of his boots. Slater tagged in for some ear ringing chops. The FXE kept Rayne away from McKenzie getting several two count pins. Rayne got in some kicks to Slater and it allowed him to tag out to Jude who followed with some head shots to the staggered big man. The Youth made several tags wearing out Slater and keeping him on the canvas. But they made a mistake and it allowed Cruz to hit them with a double dropkick. Cruz followed with a German suplex and he went to hit Rayne with a top rope move but McKenzie forced him off and onto the ropes out of control. McKenzie took over with a leg lace body scissor but Cruz fought to his feet only to end up back on the mat in a cravat. Cruz recovered and decked McKenzie on a corner whip and followed with a clothesline that allowed him to tag out to Slater. The Youth stood no chance against Slater who tossed them around the ring like kid toys. Rayne tried an enziguri but it led to Cruz coming in to hit a spinning kick via a springboard. Cruz finished off Rayne with a swanton off Slater’s shoulders.

Once the bell rang, the NuYoRicans hit the ring and the FXE. With Gu$ Money laid up injured and Don Maximo not in attendance, the FXE were without allies. That was until Alex Decay and the World Largest All Nighter’s came out to even the odds. Just when it looked like things settled down, Cruz got to his feet and hit the mob with a suicide dive. More fighting ensued and it left Slater all alone in the ring for Eddie Taurus to slide in and take Slater out. ASW Heavyweight champion Aaron Kanye Epic came out and asked Taurus to hit a second Amityville Horror Bomb on Slater.

Epic said yes he was out partying and no one deserved to seem him wrestle. Epic said Don Vinnie wanted Epic to take on Slater. So Epic called for referee Jimmie Mac to enter the ring as Epic continued to beat on Slater. Epic got a quick two. Epic hit a Zig Zag also for two. Epic followed with a neckstabber also for two. Epic went for another move but fell to a spinebuster and he lost his championship. Apparently in all the confusion, Biff Slater is the new ASW Heavyweight champion!
