2-11 ASW FLORIDA RESULTS

By Alan Wojcik on 2/12/2011 3:15 PM

February 11, 2011 was another exciting night of ASW Florida “Full Throttle Friday” at Stroker’s Billiards 11236 W Hillsborough Ave with a pre-show meet and greet with LFL Tampa Bay Breeze star Mikayla Wingle.

(1) The World’s Largest All Nighters (Shooter Storm & Joey Knight) defeated the James Boys (Luke & Rich).
With Valentine’s Day this Monday, the All Nighters came out bearing balloon for the lovely ladies. The James’ came out with their new best friend, a branding iron. Once the side items were put aside, the match started with the All Nighters mocking the James’ as Knight rode Luke around like he was a horse. The All Nighters controlled the contest until Storm’s attempted roll out of the corner was stopped by a James double team. The Gang resorted to double teaming and some questionable tactics as they worked over Storm for several minutes. That ended when Rich ran into Storm’s boot in the corner and he was able to tag out to Knight who went to work. The James’ went to double team Storm but he slipped out of a full nelson and Rich drilled Luke. That was enough for Knight to get the school boy roll up pinfall victory. After the match the All Nighters celebrated with Wingle.

ASW Chain Reaction’s Sean LaFlash brought out “the Emerald Emperor” Simon Sez who was ready to confront Francisco Ciatso for costing his multi-year ASW undefeated streak. Instead of Ciatso he got the one and only Nick Fame.

(2) Nick Fame defeated “the Emerald Emperor” Simon Sez.
Sez mocked Fame who wore a stylish headband to the ring by wearing it during the opening moments of the match. Fame didn’t appreciate that and he tagged Sez with several punches to the jaw. Sez fought back with punches and kicks of his own. Fame felt his talents were not being appreciated byt the fan so he slid to the floor and waited for them to pay attention. When he did enter the ring it was into Sez who hit several bodyslams. Fame slowed Sez down with a good old thumb to the eye lock. This was followed by a knee drop to the skull that got two. Fame locked in a chinlock but Sez fought to his feet only to be kicked in the gut and some choking with the ropes. Sez fought back with three double ax handle body shots but got slowed again by a shot to the ribs and dropkick for two. Fame went for a piledriver but Sez pushed him off and he hit Fame with the Black Hole Slam. Sez was ready for the Sez Express but Francisco Ciatso came out and challenged Sez. Sez pushed off referee Jimmie Mac and Ciatso tagged Sez with a punch to the jaw. That one shot allowed Fame the chance to hit Sez with a DDT to get the victory. Needless to saw Sez was not happy and chased after Ciatso but he was stopped by ASW security.

(3) “The Cold Hearted Playa” Danny Demanto (w/ASW Heavyweight champion Aaron Kanye Epic) defeated Cameron Matthews.
For fans unaware last week northeast based star Danny Demanto made his ASW debut assisting ASW Heavyweight champion Aaron Kanye epic in injuring Biff Slater. Demanto took time to insult the fans and the ASW locker room. Demanto was so confident that this would be a short contest; he flirted with Wingle who was sitting ringside instead of focusing on Matthews. Demanto went to work with chest chops and punches before dumping Matthews to the floor to the open arms of Epic. Demanto talked to the referee as Epic punched Matthews. Demanto followed out and delivered punches of his own. The action came back to the ring where Demanto locked in a rear chinlock but Matthews fought to his feet and had a sunset flip. But Demanto countered it with a senton for two. Demanto was ready to end it and he locked in a Camel Clutch but Matthews refused to submit. Matthews fought to his feet and Demanto was hit with a huricurana and a clothesline to the floor. Mathews kept on the offense with a top rope splash for two. Both men ended up on the top corner but Demanto fought out and dropped Matthews on the top buckle for two. Matthews went for a move but Demanto blocked it and hit a sitout piledriver.

Damien Angel made his way out for his match with the newly crowned ASW Florida Elite champion Kennedy Kendrick with his lovely lady friend Camey. But when Kennedy came out he was not dressed to compete. He said he would not be taking on Angel tonight, since was not considered Elite. But if Angel could compete with “someone on his level” he might consider giving a championship shot. The man Kendrick chose was Deathrow Jethro.

(4) Damien Angel defeated Deathrow Jethro.
Once Jethro was unshackled by ASW security the match began with Jethro absorbing every shot Angel threw at him. Jethro tossed Angel around the ring using hard body shots and the dreaded Tree of Woe in the corner with a chokehold. Jethro hit a slam and went up hitting a bodypress for two. Not one to normally follow rules, Jethro used a blatant choke on Angel. Jethro missed a corner splash and it allowed Angel to hit a running shoulder spear and several clotheslines. Angel got two on a leg lariat but Jethro fought back with another choke hold. But Jethro made a mistake and it cost him as Angel rolled him up to win. Jethro snapped and attacked Angel in a corner and was subdued by ASW security who locked Jethro back into his restraints. Angel stalked Kendrick as he fled to the locker room.

(5) In the 7th installment of the “I’ll Make Ya Famous” Challenge, AfroBoy defeated Francisco Ciatso.
A few weeks back AfroBoy was a victim of Ciatso’s challenge. This time Ciatso was ready and he jumped Afro when he came through the curtain. Ciatso slammed Afro on the floor and laid in punches to the face followed by a suplex. The action finally came into the ring to start the matchup with Ciatso decking Afro with a clothesline for two. Ciatso mocked Afro as he was beating on him as the fans booed. Ciatso hit a sideslam for two which caused Ciatso to argue with referee JW Anderson. Ciatso ran into Afro’s elbow but fought back with a powerslam for two. Ciatso slowed things down with a chinlock submission but somehow Afro fought to his feet only to be knocked back down. Ciatso went up for the Flying Canoli but missed the mark. Afro got his wind back and attacked Ciatso. Ciatso blocked a sunset flip by grabbing Afro’s head. This brought out Simon Sez who challenged Ciatso to a fight. The problem was Ciatso took his focus off Afro who was recovered enough to score the inside cradle pinfall victory. Immediately Ciatso slid out of the ring to attack Sez. But he ran right into ASW security who restrained Ciatso long enough to get Afro and Sez to the locker room.

(6) “The Marquee” Bruce Santee defeated “1st Generation Star” Teigen James.
This was Santee’s first time back to ASW since being screwed in his match with ASW Heavyweight champion Aaron Kanye Epic. James didn’t look intimidated to be locking up with a former Florida Heavyweight champion. James tagged Santee with forearm shots but Santee retuned fire with shots of his own. Santee slammed James and followed with several elbow drops. James fought back but was hit with a back suplex for two. James went for a wheel barrel move but Santee blocked it and he drove James face first into the mat. All that was left was to hit the Big Dump to end the night in favor of “the Marquee.” After the match Santee said he wanted what Epic was currently holding, his championship belt. Santee said he was ready for “Best of the Best” on March 5th and didn’t care if he pinned Epic or Biff Slater.

(7) In a non-title match, ASW Tag Team champions the Uprising (“essential” Eric Cooper & “Infamous” Eddie Taurus) defeated Los Ben Dejos (Marty Con & Ben Dejo).
Despite it being a non-title match, Los Ben Dejos picked up the championship belts and began to pose for photos. Copper told the audience this is typical of people from “below the border.” Once the belts were returned to the rightful owner we began the match with Los Ben Dejos working on getting in the head of the Uprising with some underhanded tactics. Taurus and Copper tried to slow things down by using power moves on Marty Con. But when he tagged out to Ben Dejo the tempo picked back up again. The momentum was with Los Ben Dejos until Copper used a hand full of hair to slam Ben Dejo to the canvas. That allowed Cooper to tag out and get his wind back. The Uprising began a systematic attack on Ben Dejo for the next several minutes. But they couldn’t get the pinfall or submission victory. Cooper made a mistake by dropping too soon for an attempted backdrop and Ben Dejo hit two kicks to the head. This allowed a tag to Marty Con who attacked the Uprising with blazing speed but his attack was slowed by a Taurus powerslam for two. The Uprising isolated Marty from his corner double team moves. Taurus went for a superplex but Marty countered and hit a top rope move of his own before tagging out to Ben Dejo who went after Cooper who was tagged in. Referee Jimmie Mac got too close to the action and was clipped in the head by a leg. Los Ben Dejos both hit Cooper with top rope moves but with no referee to count, Taurus grabbed a championship belt and decked Ben Dejo. When the referee gained consciousness, he saw Cooper on top and counted the pinfall. After the match Los Ben Dejos took the house mic to thank the fans for cheering them on tonight.

(8) ASW Heavyweight champion Aaron Kanye Epic (w/Danny Demanto) defeated Leo Gold.
Epic wasted no time in running his mouth as he took on Gold. But Epic’s mouth was shut when Gold hit several armdrags and locked in an armbar. Epic fought back taking Gold to the mat with a chinlock which he released to stretch out Gold’s mouth. When Epic got tired he tossed Gold out to Demanto who got in some cheap shots. Once back in the ring Epic kept on the attack with a chinlock. Gold fought to his feet and hit a sideslam for two. Epic recovered and felt like it was time to end the match so he went for a knockout punch followed by a kick to the face to end the match.

Just when Epic and Demanto began to celebrate ASW Commissioner Don Vinnie made his way to the ring. Vinnie congratulated Epic on the win and the job on Biff Slater’s ribs. Don Vinnie said Epic would have until the 25th to get ready for Biff Slater. Epic said he was done beating on Slater and Vinnie needed to move onto a new contender. Vinnie said defend the championship or be stripped of it right now. Epic thought better and accepted the challenge. But Epic and Demanto kept shooting their mouths off and Don Vinnie made the match a NO DQ match. This brought out Biff Slater and Bruce Santee who were ready to fight. Don Vinnie said next week it would be a tag team match, Santee and Slater taking on Demanto and Epic.
