Mia Yim returns to the Eagles Club next weekend after making her initial Berwyn appearances at our last set of events as part of the SPARKLE pre-show bouts.

In the time since, Mia has been working hard across the east coast under multiple training influences, including Daizee Haze and Delirious at the ROH & SHIMMER Wrestling Academy in Bristol, PA.

Recently having made her debut in Ring of Honor as one of the newest additions to Prince Nana's Embassy, Mia Yim intends to work her way to the next level within the SHIMMER ranks on March 26th & 27th.

Sassy Stephie debuted as part of the SHIMMER main roster during late 2009 as part of Volume 28, alongside tag team partner Kacey Diamond and their manager Mademoiselle Rachelle. During the time since, Stephie has focused on singles competition.

Though Stephie was sidelined from our last set of events in Berwyn due to injury, she will return to SHIMMER action next weekend, as part of our Sunday, March 27th day of taping.

Mia and Stephie join previously announced talents SHIMMER Champion Madison Eagles, SHIMMER Tag Team Champions The Canadian Ninjas, "Your Soul's Tormentor" MsChif, Cheerleader Melissa, Daizee Haze, "The Queen of Wrestling" Sara Del Rey, "The Latina Sensation" Mercedes Martinez, Serena Deeb, Saraya Knight, Britani Knight, Hiroyo Matsumoto, Misaki Ohata, Ayumi Kurihara, Tomoka Nakagawa, Nikki Roxx, Ariel, Allison Danger, "The Wrestling Goddess" Athena, Rachel Summerlyn, Jessica James, "Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" Jessie McKay, "Rate Tank" Kellie Skater, Melanie Cruise, Leva Bates, Christina Von Eerie, and Ayako Hamada as those confirmed thus far for participation in the March 26th & 27th events. This brings the talent lineup to 29 total women athletes officially announced for the shows!

CAT POWER ON WOMEN OF WRESTLING PODCAST

Stew Allen and Lee Burton of the Women of Wrestling podcast have recently announced the launch of http://www.ringbellesonline.com/ which will be the new location to find their free podcasts, as well as their reports on all of the latest news in the world of women's wrestling.
They posted an audio interview with Cat Power this past week, during the days leading up to what wound up being her farewell match this past Saturday in Montreal for the NCW Femmes Fatales promotion. Check out the Cat Power interview at the link below.

I'm sure everyone is as excited about the upcoming SHIMMER tapings as we are! It's going to be another awesome weekend and we wanted to let everyone know that we will be heading to Chicago again this March.
We'll have limited space in the baggage on the flight so if you have anything in particular you would like to pick up at SHIMMER, please let me know no later than Wednesday, March 23rd. Of course the earlier the better so we can make sure we have all your items in-stock and packed up.
Also as a "thank you" to all the SHIMMER fans that do send in orders ahead of time for pickup that weekend, you can pick out a FREE "Best of Highspots TV" DVD (now available volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4) or you can pick out either $5 Wrestling Volume 1 or 2 (hosted by Colt Cabana). Since her debut on Volume 27, Ayako Hamada has been one of the true MVP's of the SHIMMER events, giving it her all each and every time she has stepped into the SHIMMER ring to compete.

Hamada is one of the true icons of women's professional wrestling on a worldwide scale, and has been a tremendous addition to the SHIMMER family since 2009. Whether it be battling SHIMMER veterans such as Sara Del Rey, Mercedes Martinez, Daizee Haze, and Cheerleader Melissa, or taking on some of the newer SHIMMER stars like Tomoka Nakagawa, Jessie McKay, and Nicole Matthews, Ayako's exciting blend of various wrestling styles has always brought the Eagles Club crowd to its feet, while also bringing out the very best in each of her opponents.

We got a batch of old school letterpress style posters printed up for the March 26 & 27 SHIMMER events in Berwyn! The posters are 17x26, on sturdy cardboard. They will be available at the live events that weekend for those attending in person who can easily carry the posters home.
We are also making a limited number of them available to be shipped prior to the events, for those unable to make it to Berwyn who would like the SHIMMER poster to display as part of their collection. The posters will be shipped flat (not attempted to be rolled, to prevent damage) in a 30x5x24 box, via UPS Ground.
