AIW Absolute Champion Johnny Gargano isn't scheduled to defend his AIW title until AIW's Absolution 6 against Tim Donst on June 26th,however Johnny wants to stay sharp and has requested a series of exhibition matches against some of the best young competitors in the world. The first exhibition will take place March 25th at AIW's Battle Bowl as Johnny Gargano takes on Ricochet,and the second will be at Night one of TPI 2011 in a non tournament match as Johnny faces off against Japanese wrestling sensation Akira Tozawa!
Tozawa, a member of Japan's Dragon Gate promotion, has made a huge impact in the United States, proving to be one of the promotion's most promising, young stars with impressive showings in PWG, Chikara, DGUSA, and St. Louis Anarchy. We anticipate he will continue to prove why he a star on the rise taking on Johnny Gargano in his AIW debut Friday Night May 20th in Lakewood,Ohio!
