2CW RETURNS TO SYRACUSE, NY TOMORROW WITH DELIRIOUS VS. SLYCK WAGNER BROWN

By Mike Johnson on 3/24/2011 8:36 PM

Adrenaline 2011 Syracuse, NY March 25, 2011

2CW Heavyweight Championship Match
Challenger, Delirious vs Champion, Slyck Wagner Brown

Delirious returns to 2CW after last being seen in Utica, NY. He didn’t have much luck in wrestling the tag team titles away from the Olsens that night, but he is back and with purpose. 2CW management and match makers have been very impressed with his performance inside 2CW rings. They feel that he has earned a shot at the Underground King himself, 2CW champion, Slyck Wagner Brown. SWB has agreed and the match is signed for March 25. SWB is on a mission to take on all challengers and defeat them one by one until he is the last one standing. First Delirious, then the rest of the 2CW locker room will be put on notice. SWB isn’t messing around, and he is looking to make a perfect example out of the challenger in this championship match.

2CW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Challengers, The American Wolves (Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards) vs Champions, The Olsens (Colin & Jimmy Olsen)

This is the rematch that the 2CW Faithful have been looking forward to since August. The fans truly believe that the American Wolves were robbed of their tag titles and they were never given the chance to win them back. Well that all changes on March 25. Wolves vs Olsens II, for the titles. This time, we’re in Syracuse, and the Wolves will be looking for their revenge, and the titles. The Olsens have been taking on all comers, but have controversy surrounding their title reign since the evening they won the titles. Colin and Jimmy need to get this win to legitimize their title reign in the eyes of the 2CW fans. They also need to make sure they get it convincingly and make a statement in doing so, If not, they will still have that cloud of controversy over them. Can they pull that out of their bag of tricks? Or will the Wolves seek and destroy?

SPECIAL ATTRACTION #1                     SPECIAL ATTRACTION #2
"Juggernaut" Jason Axe vs Carlito     Jay Freddie vs"The Franchise" Shane Douglas

In breaking from “tradition” a little bit, these two matches can be summed in the same paragraph I believe. The story here is about Freddie vs Jason. Not to disrespect or take anything away from the two other talented wrestlers here, but its hard to not talk about the history and violent feud that is burning up in 2CW with these two. Bringing in two great wrestlers such as Carlito and Shane Douglas is a huge deal for 2CW. Truthfully, this is a huge deal for both Jason and Freddie as well. Both matches are big time matches in the careers of these young men. They could get a lot out of these matches, but the question is, can they forget about each other long enough to concentrate on these upcoming opportunities? Not to mention, Carlito and Shane Douglas aren’t just coming in for a quick paycheck and walking away. They want to come into 2CW and make their own statements. They want the wrestling world to take notice on them as well. They won’t care about Jason vs Freddie. The only thing that’ll matter to these two veterens will be the “W” in the win column and the winners share of the purse. Only one way to find out the results of this equation, and that’s to be at ringside March 25.

#1 CONTENDERS MATCH: Living on the Edge 6 Main Event
"Big Rig" Brodie Lee VS. Cheech

Winning means everything in this contest. Why, because it means getting a 2CW title opportunity at the biggest show of the year for the company. That’s a huge deal for anyone wrestling in 2CW. A lot of eyes are on 2CW right now, and many more at Living on the Edge. So a big win here, securing a title shot in April, could mean a huge leap into the next level for one of these two men. The problem is that both men are ready for this, and it won’t be easy getting there. “Big Rig” has already won the 2CW title, but his reign was cut short in November. You could say Brodie will use this opportunity to not only recapture his title, but get a little revenge as well. Cheech is looking for his first championship opportunity. He is a former 2CW tag team champion, but he has said that he is looking for singles success. There is only one way to show the wrestling world you can so well by yourself, and that’s to win championships. The 2CW championship is a very important title to gain, and retain, so to get a shot at that title doesn’t come often. Neither man will take this chance lightly, so that means an amazing encounter for the fans of 2CW to enjoy.

TAG TEAM Grudge Match
Kevin "The Man" Graham, & Punisher VanSlyke VS. Killer Steves

This feud has been brewing in 2CW since October. That night is the night Graham and VanSlyke turned against “Studly” in a tag team match and joined with their trainer, ZS3. It is also the night that Steve Kruz returned to 2CW to help his fallen tag team partner. Unfortunately, they were both left laying that night. It didn’t get any better in Elmira when they saved Loca Vida from a 3 on 1 attack by the newly christianed First Class. First Class is now 3-0 against these three men in six-man tag bouts (this includes the battle royal from last month in Binghamton). Now 2CW has sanctioned this tag team grudge match to try and settle the score. One can only hope that something is settled between there four men.

Grudge Match
ZSIII VS. LOCA VIDA

Speaking of the grudge match between First Class and the Loca Steves, would be a continuation of ZS3 and Loca Vida’s feud that apparently wasn’t over with. These two have faced off a couple of other times in singles matches in 2CW, and this is now a grudge match. ZS3 has returned to being a hated figure in the locker room, and now he has brought two of his students with him. He looks to make an example of Loca during their match on March 25. However, Loca isn’t going to be a push over. He is none-to-pleased with the three on one attack in Elmira, and the fact that his team hasn’t been able to get a victory against First Class is making him that much more frustrated. If he can capture a win over the leader of this new faction, that could go a long way in taking them down.

Rubber Match
"Muscle" Marcos VS. Isys Ephex

The last time this match was signed, it was Marcos demanding another shot. This time around, it is the 2010 2CW Grand Prix Champion, Isys Ephex, demanding a rematch. Isys doesn’t like he lost to someone he pinned in just seconds in December. “Muscle” was able to get his body hung up in the ropes as he pinned Isys down for a three count in Binghamton, so now both men have one win a piece against each other. Now we return to Syracuse, and both men are ready for the other. Both men know what the other is capable of, and is ready for everything. Only one man can take home a win.

Tickets are still available at the door.
