As announced last week on PWInsider.com,New England Championship Wrestling will return to action on 5/14 with a special benefit event at Carver High School, 60 South Meadow Road in Carver, MA on Saturday night, May 14th with a 7 PM bell time.
New England Championship Wrestling presents A FIGHT FOR ALEX 2, a second annual benefit show for 4 ½ year old Alex Wawrzyniak, a child suffering from a form of brain cancer.
The event will feature a blockbuster main event, as NECW Heavyweight Champion, “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke battles new Ring of Honor World Champion, and NECW original star, “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards.
The event will also feature the return of The Crown Jewels, DC Dillinger, World Women’s Wrestling Champion, Alexxis Neveah and much more. Additional matches to be announced soon.
In April of 2009, Alex Wawrzyniak was diagnosed with Pilocytic Astro Cytoma Low Grade Glioma, a very long and technical word for brain cancer.
Tickets for A FIGHT FOR ALEX 2 are $10 general admission in advance and $15 at the door. Kids under 12 and Carver High students are $8.
