RHINO HEADING TO CANADA'S C*4

By Mike Johnson on 4/21/2011 11:06 AM

C*4 Domination 2K11 news! Steen and Bailey go face to face!  Three-Way Dance!  Shane Matthew’s Challenge Answered… sort of…
It was at September’s “Re: Ignition” event, when “Speedball” Mike Bailey stood toe-to-toe with “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen.  Bailey impressed many fans that night, by taking all that Steen had to give to him.

Since then, Bailey and Steen have shared the ring several times.  On Jan 15th, 2011, Steen faced off with Jimmy Jacobs and Tyson Dux – when Bailey took it upon himself to team with Steen.   Following the match, Steen attempted to teach Bailey a lesson, delivering several brutal chops and knocking him down repeatedly.  Following that lesson, Bailey stood back up and slapped Steen across the face.

The next week, on January 22nd, Steen and Bailey ended up being the final two men in a 4-Corner match to determine the number one contender to the C*4 Championship.  Again, Steen managed to defeat Bailey.

On March 26th, Mike Bailey squared off with El Generico.  During the course of the match, Kevin Steen approached the ring side area, and watched… He watched as Bailey went move for move with El Generico.  He watched as Bailey fell in defeat.  He watched as fans stood and cheered out of respect for Mike Bailey.

On April 30th, Kevin Steen has told C*4 management that he wants Mike Bailey in the ring.  He wants him face to face.  At C*4 Domination, Kevin Steen, never short on words, has several for Mike Bailey…

Speaking of Kevin Steen, a man with whom he will face off against a week later in Montreal, Jimmy Jacobs will be in action on April 30th.

C*4 management has put down a strict ruling baring from Steen and Jacobs having any physical interaction at “Domination” – which will not be lifted until May 7th.

Jimmy Jacobs meanwhile looks to ‘dominate’ some C*4 competitors and send a message to Steen.

Jimmy Jacobs will be facing off in a three-way dance with two young men looking for any opportunity to climb the ladder.  A victory over Jacobs would be a huge step in the right direction!  That said, a win on April 30th, would put Jacobs in the right direction for his match with Kevin Steen a week later.

“Hacker” Scotty O’Shea is a young man who is looking to get his first big win in C*4.  O’Shea has more then proven that he can hang in there with all opponents – however has yet to taste victory.  Will his luck finally change on April 30th?

The next man stepping up for this three-way-dance is a competitor who is quickly impressing fans and opponents alike.   Having made his debut against O’Shea back in January, Mathieu St Jacques has had mixed results in C*4 action so far.  Debuting and defeating O’Shea at “Rise Above”, on Jan. 22nd, St. Jacques immediately sent notice to the C*4 locker room.  Can he pick up his second victory at “Domination 2K11”?

Lastly for today – a singles match which was sparked by some very controversial comments made by one Shane Matthews
Following his loss on March 26th, in six man action, Shane Matthews (accompanied at the time by “Jagged” Scott Parker and Cecil Nyx) – lashed out verbally at his opponents, specifically one Lucky Sabiti.  He went so far as to challenge him to a “Slavery Match” on April 30th.

When Sabiti was reached for comment, he told C*4 management that he is over playing “games” with 2.O and Shane Matthews.  He also said he wouldn’t dignify the challenge with a response, and said he would rather focus on tag team action from here on out.

However, Lucky wasn’t the only one who heard Shane Matthew’s controversial challenge -  Saying he wouldn’t accept such a challenger – but was up for “shutting Shane Matthew’s loud mouth”, “All-Starter” Brent B will step up.
