A.J. STYLES & SARAH DARLING ASK FOR CONTINUED FAN SUPPORT TO MAKE
VIDEO #1 ON BOTH COUNTRY MUSIC NETWORKS
Help Styles & Darling Make Wrestling History by Taking "Something To Do With Your Hands" to #1 on CMT & GAC
Nashville, Tenn (April 18, 2011) - TNA (Total Non-Stop Action) star A.J. Styles and Black River Entertainment's Sarah Darling recently made waves in the wrestling news world when "Something To Do With Your Hands" bolted to #1 on CMT. With over 200,000 views, wrestling fans, undoubtedly played a major hand in taking the video to the top of the chart. But Styles and Darling still need your help in making the video No. 1 on GAC and CMT. By taking the video to #1 on both networks, Styles would become the first pro-wrestler in history to take a country music video to the top of both major network charts.
"We would like to thank everyone who has voted for 'Something To Do With Your Hands' on CMT.com and GACTV.com but would like to encourage everyone to keep voting to get us to the No. 1 position on both networks!" says Darling. "That would be truly amazing! Thanks for all your help!"

Memorial Mayhem by Larry Goodman
May 1, 2011
Johnny G's
Warner Robins, GA
The Usual Suspects emerged from NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling’s “Memorial
Mayhem” show as the new NWA World Tag Team Champions by defeating the Dark
City Fight Club Sunday afternoon in Warner Robins, Ga.
Long story short, this was the best RPW event I’ve attended (I missed the Daniel Bryan show), a terrific blend of action, surprises and heartbreak. There were major developments in all of the long arcing storylines that booker Jimmy Rave has nurtured over the last nine months. Match quality ranged from good to outstanding.
Attendance was 150. That was up from their first Sunday afternoon taping two weeks ago. The general consensus, however, was that this lineup would have sold out on a Saturday night.
(1) Drew Adler & Michael Stevens beat Alexander Andrews & Blain Rage in 7:16.
The story here was Adler & Stevens making fun of Andrews’ “winners” trophy with constant loser references. They got heat on Rage (a mini version of Dick the Bruiser). Stevens did a moonsault using Adler’s back as a launching pad. Adler tweaked his knee on a flip landing off the top, The heel advantage was short-lived, however. Rather than risking a loss, Andrews cradled his trophy and walked out on Rage. Finish was Stevens doing the Roderick Strong double knee gutbuster followed by Adler’s swanton bomb. The swanton was tremendous because Adler delayed the flip
until the last split second.
RPW announcer Ben Masters introduced a legend, former AWA Tag Team Champion
“Pretty Boy” Doug Somers. Somers talked about his 13 year connection with Frankie Valentine (he’s Valentine’s stepfather). Somers said he didn’t care about the legends label because he was still an active competitor (at the age of 59). Valentine verified that Somers beat all of what he knew about pro wrestling into his head. Somers said Valentine still had a long way to go as a wrestler and he planned to be around RPW to straighten Valentine out when necessary. The fans reacted to Somers with the utmost respect. The segment got over great. There’s nothing like basing a storyline on real life emotions.
(2) Bobby Moore (with Charlie Cash) beat Mr. Jones in 5 minutes. . Forgive the obscure reference, but I can’t get over how much Jones reminds me of Big Red from late 70s-early 80s Atlanta wrestling. The entire match consisted of Jones throwing his considerable weight around and giving Moore a beating. He looked like gold. If Jones’ previous RPW opponents sold that way, things might have been different. As it is, Jones has given notice. When Jones called for a spear, Cash went into action. That allowed Moore to hit running kick finisher.
Postmatch, The Judge joined Moore for a beatdown on Jones, until Doc Gayton ran out with a steel chair.
(3) Hot Like Lava (Cru Jones & Shaun Banks beat Aaron Epic & Jimmy the Kid in 7: 19. The debuting Kid won the fans over right away with a breathtaking satellite headscissors. He couldn’t have pulled it off without the greatness that is Shaun Banks. Lava got huge heat on little Jimmy. This was much better than Lava’s usual schtick, because they gave Jimmy a realistic beating, while preserving all of the entertainment value. Banks hit a slingshot blockbuster that was really sweet. Jones called referee Stanley Robinson “Opie”. It might stick. I don’t know of any promotion where the fans take pleasure in abusing the refs like they do at RPW. Kid hit another cool flying move with Banks as the base to set up the hot tag. Banks pinned Jimmy after devastating press slam/RKO combo.
(4) Bull Buchanan defeated J-Rod to become a two-time RPW Heavyweight
Champion in 11:30. Crowd reaction was totally different than their Dragon Gate match due to the enduring emotional attachment to J-Rod in Warner Robins, whereas the DGUSA fans didn’t give a rat’s ass about him. It was an interesting split. Few were actually against J-Rod. It was more like they started pulling for Bull when J-Rod got the upper hand. J-Rod chose to fight fire with fire, questionable strategy at best. Bull took J-Rod to his personal RPW playground – the ringside area. J-Rod came backworking over Bull’s knee. J-Rod countered a chokeslam attempt with the Superman Knee, but Buchanan was able to grab the ropes. Buchanan hit a chokeslam that the crowd bought as the finish. Buchanan was then looking for a backpack stunner. J-Rod tried to fight it off with a rear naked choke, but Buchanan was able to hit the move. J-Rod kicked out and reversed into a crucifix pin for two. Buchanan leveled J-Rod with a lariat for another near fall. J-Rod evaded the axe kick, but Buchanan sprung to his feet with another killer lariat to score the pin. Well done, 10X better than their DGUSA match. The false finishes really had the crowd going. The crowd popped big for their postmatch handshake.
(5) Rave Approved (Corey Hollis & Mike Posey & Chip Day) beat Adrian Hawkins & Michaels Stevens & Drew Adler in 11:50. The match opened with….WRESTLING!!!
Hawkins popped the crowd with tope on all of Rave Approved. Hollis inadvertently gave Stevens a back elbow from hell. Stevens didn’t know which end was up. It was a miracle he didn’t wind up with broken bones or busted teeth. Rave Approved took over on Adler with one of their signature aerial bombardments. After the obligatory house cleaning by Hawkins, Rave Approved destroyed Stevens with a devastating series of top rope moves ending with Posey’s guillotine leg drop.
Afterward, Rave Approved tried to get Hawkins to join their club. Hawkins deliberated. Then he deliberated some more before accepting the Rave Approved t-shirt and shaking Posey’s hand. However, Hawkins walked out as a solo act. Hmm.
(6) Jeremy Vain beat Frankie Valentine to retain the RPW Heavyweight
Championship in 9:18. Somers joined Masters and Bill Behrens at the announcing desk.
Vain vs. Valentine is a classic old school match up. Simple stories often make the best stories. It’s a crying shame for TNA that Vince Russo is yet to see the light and probably never will. When Valentine scored a couple of close near falls early, you could smell the fear in the champion. Vain posted Valentine’s shoulder and did a major number on the damaged body part. Somers came to ringside to exhort Valentine to get his ass in gear. Valentine’s comeback (selling the shoulder all the way) was terrific. Vain busted out his 360 bump for Valentine’s monkey flip. Not good enough for Somers though. Somers clocked Valentine causing him to get crotched on the top turnbuckle. Vain rolled Valentine up using the tights. Somers raised Vain’s hand, then slapped Valentine with the explanation “you gave up.” Great stuff. Somers foreshadowed something sinister in his earlier speech but not in way where anyone saw it coming so soon.
(7) In a mask vs. career match, The Judge (with Charlie Cash) defeated Dr. Johnny Gayton to end Gayton’s wrestling career. Fans were holding up signs that read “7-0” in reference to Gayton’s undefeated record at major RPW events. Gayton was a man on a mission. He pulled one of Cash’s shoes off and clobbered Judge with it. Gayton was well on his way to incapacitating Judge’s claw hand, but he got carried away and tried to introduce a chair. Referee “Meatloaf” Dustin Robinson stopped him and that’s when the monstrous Judge took over. Judge used the crossface, but he made the
dimwit move of climbing the ropes. That didn’t work out so well. Gayton got the crossface and Judge used the claw to break the hold. When Gayton again got the crossface, Cash got up to interfere. Gayton clubbed Cash, which gave Judge a chance to recover, and rolled Gayton up using the tights. Match exceeded my not so lofty expectations. There was a fair amount of shock about the outcome but no real outpouring of emotion I guess that ship had already sailed.
Afterward, Judge unmasked to reveal Rob Adonis.
(8) Usual Suspects (Murder One & AJ Steele) defeated Dark City Fight Club to win the NWA World Tag Team Championship in 15:23.
The crowd was showing signs of fatigue at this point. Two hours without a break will do that. The crowd was pulling for Suspects, but they’ve developed a healthy respect for DCFC based on their previous appearances. It was all clean wrestling for the first 10 minutes. Chavis reassured ringside fans that they knew how to wrestle in The Dark City. Tempers
flared between Steele and Davis. That led into a round robin of big move. Davis dumped Murder hard to the outside and all four brawled on the floor. Back inside, Steele used a hammerlock slam on Chavis and a belly-to-belly suplex on Davis. They did a four way tower spot with Murder taking the superplex from DCFC. Hot Like Lava tried to interfere. DCFC took care of them, but in the ensuing confusion, Suspects hit a double flapjack on Chavis and Murder pinned him out of the blue. It was one of those controversial finishes where it looked like Chavis got his shoulder up. This match (their 3rd) was similar to their first meeting but it didn’t flow nearly as well. The title change was a shocker. Then again, it would have been a tough deal for Suspects to come up short three times in a row on their home court.
Afterward, DCFC begrudgingly placed the title belts on Suspects’ shoulders.
Suspects celebrated with both sets of titles.
Intermission. They got the cage up and ready to go in 20 minutes.
(9) Jimmy Rave pinned Kyle Matthews in a steel cage match after special enforcer Sal Rinauro slammed the cage door on Matthews’ head (16 minutes).
Fans were begging Matthews to chop Rave. He did. Rave bled after a round of taking a round of shots into the cage. We’re taking major color, all the way down to his tights. Rave gave Matthews a high backdrop into the cage. Rave returned the favor with cage shots. Matthews bled a little bit. Rave launched Matthews into the cage like a lawn dart, then ordered Rinauro to open the door. Rinauro was in no hurry and Matthews cut off Rave’s escape. After dishing out some taunts and torture, Rave tried to climb out. Matthews cut that off as well. Matthews got the Hidaka Lock, and Rave rammed him into the cage to break the hold. Rave hit a superplex for a near fall. The most spectacular spot of the match saw both men on the standing on the top rope. Rave went for a powerbomb and Matthew reversed it with a huracanrana. Matthews hit a frog splash for a close near fall. Matthews went for the kill with the Slurpee Kick, but Rave evaded it. Rave choked Matthewswith a boot lace. Dustin Robinson got in his face, and Rave decked him (no surprise there - they’ve had nothing but problems). Matthews hit the Slurpee Kick but Robinson was still down. With Rinauro urging him on, Matthews went for the door and got it slammed in his face. Rinauro jumped into the ring to make the three count, then took his shirt off to reveal a Rave Approved shirt underneath. Great stuff. This story has been running for nine months and it just keeps
getting better.
The rest of Rave Approved hit the ring to do more damage to Matthews. As Hawkins was about to take his turn, he attacked all five bad guys and ripped off his Rave Approved shirt. More guts than brains. Rave Approved totally destroyed Hawkins. Suspects, DCFC and J-Rod made the save by scaling the cage.

April 30, 2011 by Larry Goodman
Spring Break Bash
Cherry Street Gym
Royston, GA
Alternative Pro Wrestling presented “Spring Break Bash 2011” in Royston, Ga on Friday night.
As is usually the case with APW’s major events, it was as good a show as one could reasonably expect from a roster that has few top level veterans (Shadow Jackson, Jeremy Vain and Seth Delay) and a lot of young guys at various stages ofdevelopment, the most promising being APW’s current singles champions Anthony Henry and Dustin Knight and the uniquely talented Skirra Corvus. Up and down the card, everyone worked hard. Both of the big title matches produced high quality action.
The promotion has developed a passionate fan base in Royston, a tiny out of-the-way town where the mystique of pro wrestling lives on to some degree. The wrestlers are seen as stars. Every babyface on the card got a good pop coming out. The Horton gym is a great building for heat. The sound bounces around and gives the effect of a much larger crowd.
Attendance was 120. Although the weekly shows have been drawing better than
usual, the major shows have often done a better number than that.
Based on what was shown on their internet TV show, APW Aftershock, I didn’t find the build up for the matches to be as compelling as some of APW’s previous major shows, the exception being the angle for the Jacoby Boykins/Jackson match. Boykins had been abusing jabronis in a series of “white boy challenge” matches but wanted no part of Jackson. That lead to a situation where the babyfaces trapped Boykins’ stablemate, Vain, in the ring and bashed him with a chair until manager Kevin Duncan agreed to the match.
(1) John Skyler beat Chris Mayne in 7:09.
Skyler’s intro got the kind of pop I’m not used to hearing for an opening match babyface. He’s one of many indy guys that falls into the category of “if only he was taller”. Mayne has come back from a back injury in good form. His ring presence and look are much the better for the time away. They opened with chain wrestling, not doing too much right off the bat, and accelerated the pace from there. Mayne did a smooth heel move where he used a hair pull to put Skyler into a rear naked choke. They each hit big moves for near falls and foiled the other guy’s big move. Ref Dee Byers caught Mayne using the ropes on a pin attempt. It got physical between them, and Skyler capitalized with Sliced Bread #2.
(2) Sudden Impact (Tommy Daniels & James Boulevard) beat Just 2 Dudes (Jamie Cruz & Chris Spectra) to win the APW Tag Team Championship in 10:43.
Geez, is the APW tag team division in the toilet or what. 2 Dudes (hailing from Seattle no less) are playing at being pro wrestlers and could just as easily have been sitting in the crowd. Cruz’s lariats were so pitiful that he should be banned for life from doing them. Be that as it may, Dudes are over with the fans. Sudden Impact were at least passable. Boulevard’s trunks looked uncomfortably tiny for a guy his size. During the heat, Daniels had Cruz midring in the cross armbreaker and decided to tag out. So much for that as a finishing move. Finish was ref distraction allowing Daniels to hit Cruz with one of the title belts. Match quality be damned. The crowd liked it just fine except for the Dudes losing the titles.
(3) Chaos (with Kevin Duncan) vs. Carnage ended as a double knock out at 12:05.
For a battle of the behemoths, this wasn’t bad at all. Chaos has a tendency to try too many things that call for agility instead of working like a monster, but he held it in check in this match and they were battering each other pretty good. They went nose-to-nose at the start. Chaos is billed a being a seven footer, and if that was the case (it’s
not) it would make Carnage no less than 6-10. Chaos did a top rope elbow drop, which was a hell of thing for a guy that size. Carnage did a pair of corner clotheslines and was really laying them in. Chaos chokeslammed Carnage for a double down. Byers stopped counting because it didn’t appear Carnage would make it up in time, which was unfortunate given the finish they were doing. Carnage fought off the dreaded Chaos heart punch and hit the Avalanche (choke bomb), but Duncan distracted him and Chaos was able to kick out of the delayed cover. Carnage ever so slowly climbed to the top rope. Chaos met him with a superplex. It took forever to set up, but with two huge guys like that, it was fairly spectacular when all was said and done. They were both still flat on their backs when Byers’ count reached 10.
(4) Dustin Knight beat Jeremy Vain (with Kevin Duncan) to retain the NWA North Georgia Title in 17:05.
Knight is an awesome babyface. He’s a skinny little guy, but the crowd responds to his heart and fire. Plus the way Vain sells and bumps, Knight's size is less of an issue. Vain had declared that Knight and his title were mere stepping stones on his way back to the Southern States Championship. Early on, Knight worked on Vain’s arm. The big spot was Vain knocking Knight off the apron with a body block. Knight bumped into the rail, splitting his eyebrow the hardway. Knight had a mask of blood around his eyes and nose for the rest of the match. It was only blood during the night and significantly added to the drama. Vain couldn’t put Knight away with the sleeper. Knight fired up, reeling off three big near falls. Knight
brought Vain off the top with a huracanrana, but Vain kicked out of his one arm cover. Vain resorted to his pet trick, the pin attempt with both feet on the ropes and Knight kicked out. Vain hit the VKO followed by the VDT. Knight was toast. Vain said the belt was his. As Vain went for a second DDT, Knight countered with a jackknife pin for the three count.
(5) Jacob Ashworth & C.B. Gibson & Don E beat Johnny Dangerous & Hexxon &
Scott Mayson in 7:05.
The story here was that Dangerous had recently turned on Ashworth employing Hexxon and Mayson as his partners in crime. Ashworth and Dangerous were clearly best of breed in this match and did a good job with the story. Dangerous showed more personality as a heel than he had as a babyface. Mayson’s work isn’t that bad. He’s just really lanky and has such a backyard look about him. Gibson took the heat after being posted by Dangerous. Finish saw Ashworth spread the ropes to spill both Hexxon and Mayson. Gibson and Don E took them out with dives. Ashworth then pinned Dangerous with Ashes to Ashes (elevated full nelson face plant). Babyface revenge was the right finish given the disappointment and outrage that was to follow.
(6) Jacoby Boykins (with Kevin Duncan) defeated Shadow Jackson in 10:43.
Boykins is improving by leaps and bound as a heel. True to his chickenshit ways, he left the ring as soon as the bell rang with Jackson in hot pursuit. Boykins was selling huge for Jackson – jelly legs, eyes rolling around in his head, but he didn’t go down until Jackson made his comeback, which made it all the more impactful. After Jackson missed a flying Butt Butt, Boykins took over. Boykins did a People’s Elbow, mocking Jackson’s signature howl in the process. Boykins tried to sap the life out of Jackson with bear hug. Jackson survived and hulked up. Duncan slipped a chain to Boykins, but Jackson was able to hit the stunner. Boykins bumped like he was shot out of a cannon. Duncan again distracted the babyface from making the pin (there’s a theme there). Moments later, Duncan grabbed Jackson by the leg and Boykins clubbed Jackson with the chain for the 1-2-3. Afterward, the crowd showed their undying support for “The People’s Champion” by chanting for Jackson.
(7) Anthony Henry defeated Skirra Corvus and Seth Delay and Brandon Parker
(with Kevin Duncan) in a four way elimination match to retain the NWA Southern States Championship (19:55).
Ring announcer Michael Gentry did an excellent job on the intro by mentioning all of participants’ past APW title credentials.
The only problem with the match was Parker was the only true heel, since Corvus has a big following as the cool heel. Of the four, Henry got by far the biggest reaction. The creative has done a great job building him as a champion, and he has the ability to pull it off. The four-way action produced the most spectacular action of the night – tons of big moves
and crazy dives. There was a scary spot where Henry dropped Corvus on his head. Delay took a backdrop on the ramp from Parker. While Corvus and Henry were doing the highlight reel stuff, Parker was playing the role of the sly opportunist. Delay used the brass knucks to eliminate Korvus at 9:06. As Delay struggled with his conscience about using the knucks on Henry, Parker rolled him up at 9:57. Parker was instantly all over Henry, who had taken more damage thus far. On the comeback, Henry got a near fall with a top rope double stomp to the back. Parker answered with a big combo
and did the dice rolling motion (he’s allegedly from Vegas) for his finisher. It was no dice. Henry’s Texas Cloverleaf finisher is so over that the crowd was already chanting for it. Henry did a frogsplash instead. Duncan tried to distract and Henry decked him for a big pop. Parker kicked out for a fine false finish. Dee Byers got bumped big time.
Henry locked Parker in the cloverleaf. Duncan hit the ring with the title belt. Henry released Parker and put Duncan in the cloverleaf. That gave Parker a chance to recover. He hit his Codebreaker variant. Byers was now able to count, but Henry kicked out at 2.9 for another terrific false finish. Henry got the cloverleaf and Parker tapped right away.
The fans were loving it. All was right with the world.
However, the celebration was cut short by the sudden arrival of the Hate Junkies. This had the panic and chaos of a great angle, like something that was legitimately not supposed to happen. Stryknyn stomped a chair on Henry’s face and speared him. The babyfaces ran down to ringside, but Only creamed the first two guys with chairshots and the rest though better of getting in the ring. Stryknyn then torched Henry with a fireball. The face threw a towel over Henry’s head and got him out of there. Some fans got really heated about the situation and were threatening bodily harm to Stryknyn. They shot footage of Henry being hustled out of the building and
taken to the hospital, which will undoubtedly be shown on APW Aftershock.

NWA History Made
(Jacksonville, FL) - On April 23, 2011, pro wrestling history was made as the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) crowned new champions. Shannon Rose on "The Rose Report" takes you behind the scenes at this historic event.
You can see the report at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xHly_IhwV8
In the NWA World's Heavyweight Tag Team Title match, Dark City Fight Club defeated the Briscoe Brothers to retain their belts, and The Sheik won his long-awaited battle for the NWA World's Heavyweight Title, outlasting Colt Cabana in a decision that still has people talking.
Backstage afterward, Jon Davis and Kory Chavis, aka the Dark City Fight Club, told reporter Shannon Rose, "We still stand tall as the best tag team in the world. Wherever we're supposed to take these belts to defend them, we'll be there!"
Chavis badly injured his arm during the match, but said, "No excuses. I'll do whatever it takes to keep our belts."
The Sheik captured the "10 pounds of gold," i.e. the NWA World's Heavyweight title belt, and in the process plans to take the championship somewhere it hasn't been defended in nine years-Japan.
Cabana had The Sheik pinned but the referee was temporarily knocked unconscious thanks to an errant elbow and thus didn't register the three count. It wasn't until after awakening that the referee saw The Sheik putting Cabana into submission-after The Sheik whacked Cabana in the head with his pointed boot.
Afterward, The Sheik was undaunted by the controversy, as he has felt snubbed by the powers that be for his chance at the NWA World's Heavyweight Title for several years.
"I am the best wrestler in the WORLD!" he proclaimed to Rose backstage. "They tried to deny The Sheik the ten pounds of gold! But they could not!"

NWA COASTAL
257 fans showed up at St. Mary’s RC Church in Manahawkin to see NWA Coastal show why they are the new sheriff in town when it comes to pro wrestling in South Jersey,
In the opening contest, Sgt. Dan Gleason defeated Modar Assad and Geoffrey Bravo (with their manager JADEN), by pinning Assad. After the match, Assad and Bravo attacked Gleason, who was assisted to his feet by Ryan Blackheart. Gleason grabbed a mic and demanded a match with Assad with a “Flag On a Pole” stipulation. Assad accepted the challenge. Suddenly Blackheart attacked Gleason, and proclaimed that while he wasn’t booked for this show, he came to make an impact, and said that he would prove that when he faces Alex Payne in May at Barnegat High School.
In the second match, the team of Johnny X and Cleatus defeated Vicious Vin Delicious and Ron Post when their manager Millionaire John II threw powder intended for Johnny X into the eyes of Vicious Vin, who was then counted out by NWA senior official Fred Richards.
Shockadia (the team of Shock and Arcadia) then hit the ring to say they came to wrestle tonight and issue an open challenge. JC Rage hit the ring and attacked Arcadia, Shock jumped Rage from behind and a beat down ensued until Hyena maked the save. JC Rage then asked his former nemesis Hyena if they could bury their long standing feud to take on Shockadia, and a new alliance was formed for the evening.
In a classic battle between big man vs. small man, the smaller man won this evening as Joey Spades attacked Luscious La Ron’s legs throughout the match, and ultimately won the match as LaRon tapped out to a Texas clover leaf.
In the wildest match of the night, Wayne Woo (making his return to NJ pro wrestling) faced off against the infamous Sensational One (also managed by JADEN). After shooting just about the entire audience with Silly String, Woo entered the ring, and once Sensational One missed a second running splash, Woo caught him with a cross body from the top rope for the three count.
The intermission saw an interesting exhibition from the students of Green Dragon Warrior Arts, whose instructor, Jason Pharo, was on the show this evening. After the exhibition, his opponent Johnny Fearless hit the ring to remind Pharo that pro wrestling was not MMA, and that he didn’t fear the Green Dragon. Fearless pie faced Pharo, who was held back by his students, but Pharo reminded Fearless of the similarities between MMA and pro wrestling, and vowed to be victorious.
And yes, there was also a marriage proposal during intermission as the popular Hyena asked his girlfriend to marry him in the ring!!!
After intermission, the team of JC Rage and Hyena bested Shockadia when Arcadia hit his tag partner Shock with an accidental drop kick. Hyena then nailed Arcadia with a moonsault for the three count.
The very popular Ninja Saint defeated Judo Al when Saint hit Al with some elbow drops and a top rope elbow drop for the win.
NWA Force 1 star Johnny Calzone defeated CCW Star “Il Capo” Jason Gotti by disqualification. Gotti’s manager, Millionaire John II got involved by throwing his cane to Gotti when the ref’s back was turned and Gotti hit Calzone with a cane to get the cheap pin fall. After the match, the referee found the cane and disqualified Gotti.
In the main event, The Green Dragon Jason Pharo defeated Johnny Fearless (with his manager JADEN) via a Rear naked choke to win the Eastern Shores championship. ECW legend Ironman Tommy Cairo presented Pharo with the belt, and a celebration occurred in the ring, while JADEN slapped Fearless several times for losing the match. Fearless then punched JADEN’s lights out, which amounted to a firing.
NWA Coastal is proud to say that over $2500 was raised on Saturday for Family Promise Of Southern Ocean County charity, whose website is located at http://familypromisesoc.com/
Barnegat High School is the site of NWA Coastal’s next show, called “Honor Roll”, which will take place on Friday, May 27th, with a 7:30 pm bell time. The main event will pit NWA National Champion Chance Prophet against 2011 winner of the 16 Carat Gold tournament in Germany, “The New Horror” Sami Callihan. More details on this show to follow.
