What's up APW Fans?!?
APW put together another outstanding showcase on Friday, May 6th, 2011! Here are the results from this amazing event!
1) Sheik Khan Abadi pinned "Double D" Dave Dutra after an electrically charge match-up between two of the finest wrestlers in APW.
2) The Carnival of Shadows (CORVUS, BLACKWELL and JECKLES) with DARKNESS defeated Mikey Jay, Vennis DeMarco and APW Universal Heavyweight Champion Dylan Drake in a 6-Man Tag Team Match.
The chaos continued on Gym Wars as The Carnival of Shadows reeked havoc on the wrestlers of APW. BLACKWELL got the pin-fall victory on Vennis DeMarco after using his devastating "Game Over Piledriver." Vennis DeMarco would have to be carried out of the APW by Dylan Drake, Mikey Jay APW Officials. Looks like the war between The Carnival of Shadows and APW has only begun!
3) "Big Country" Jody Kristofferson wins by Disqualification against "The Boss" Derek Sanders.
The former APW Universal Heavyweight Champion "The Boss" Derek Sanders gave "Big Country" a low blow and was disqualified for his dirty deeds. The Masked Man would return to assist "The Boss," but Jody Kristofferson would get the upper hand before the 2-on-1 battle begun. At the end of the beat down, The Masked Man revealed himself to be none other than "Double D" Dave Dutra! The entire APW Garage was in shock.
4) Levi Shapiro pinned Shane "Wild" West after a reversal of West's flying crossbody into a quick roll-up.
5) "Internet Sensation" Brandon P.Net defeats Daniel Torch with a high-impact flying elbow drop.
6) KIMO pins OMEGA with CORVUS and DARKNESS with a modified Cradle DDT.
7) Mr. Wrestling #4 wins by Disqualification against Perry Von Vicious with Matthew Theall.
After Mr. Wrestling #4 was in total control of the 2011 Young Lion Cup Winner, PVV's Manager, Matthew Theall rolled into the ring and brutally attacked #4 with his golf club. Mr. Wrestling #4 would get another surge of energy and tried eliminating Theall from the equation, but PVV would lock in his dreaded submission hold forcing #4 to pass out! APW Stars Daniel Torch, Shane "Wild" West and "Internet Sensation" Brandon P.Net would come to #4's aid! PVV would eliminate Torch and West from the rescue plan, but the always quick P.Net would get the best of PVV and he and Theall would slide away.
Mr. Wrestling #4 would be helped to the back by P.Net and West after he gain consciousness. Looks like Mr. Wrestling #4 has some unfinished business with Matthew Theall and his newest client, the 2011 Young Lions Cup Winner Perry Von Vicious.
8) "Wrestling Personified" Rik Luxury with Markus Mack defeated "Out of Control" Matt Carlos in a LADDER Match for the Undisputed APW World Wide Internet Heavyweight Championship. NEW CHAMPION CROWNED!
In what should go down as the most high-impact, emotional roller coaster in APW History, the fans were treated to a lethal ladder match! "Wrestling Personified" Rik Luxury walked in as the self professed "REAL" Internet Champion going against the APW World Wide Internet Champion "Out of Control" Matt Carlos to determine the Undisputed Internet Champion! Only one man would walk away with the championship and on this night, Markus Mack and his client Rik Luxury were able to grab the gold dangling from the APW Garage rafters and claim victory over his rival Carlos.
This match was simply breath-taking and a testament that APW wrestlers are willing to sacrifice not only their bodies, but their careers to prove that they are worthy of being a champion in All Pro Wrestling. On this night, the APW Faithful had to recognize Rik Luxury as a true champion as he climbed the top of the ladder and grabbed the title! These two wrestlers honestly put everything on the line and the fans witnessed a brutal contest of pure proportions. Both wrestlers walked away with respect not only from the APW Faithful, but the Locker Room as well. Do not miss this match when put on television or loaded to Youtube; its a MUST SEE!
