VPW Championship - Triple Threat Match “King of New York” E.J. Risk vs. VSK vs. “Ultra Sexy” Joe So Delicious(c) At our last event, VPW Champion Joe So Delicious successfully defended his championship against former champion Jason Static. Immediately after the match, Joe was met with challenges from E.J. Risk, VSK and again, Jason Static. Being a fighting champion, Joe said he’d take them all on in a four corner elimination match. VPW officials have since received word that Jason Static will not be in Deer Park on May 21st, but Joe will still have a huge challenge coming his way in the form of two of VPW’s best. Both VSK and Risk are hungry for gold. Joe may have the advantage in that his opponents have developed such a rivalry amongst themselves, that they may be focussed more on each other than the championship gold. However, if Risk is victorious in this huge main event and the rest of Conflux walk out of the building with their titles, then Conflux will truly control all of the gold. This match will see one fall to a finish. The real question is if we will see the shortest VPW Championship reign in history or the continued dominance of Joe So Delicious!! VPW New York State Championship “Cuban Crippler” Ricky Reyes(c) vs. K-Funk Just weeks ago, K-Funk pinned Ricky Reyes in a tag match. Knowing that he is able to defeat Reyes, Funk wanted a match where the VPW New York State championship was on the line. VPW officials felt that he was deserving of having his request met and the match is set for May 21st in Deer Park!! Funk needs to be on the lookout for the dirty tactics typically employed by members of Conflux if he wants to walk out with the prized championship. Reyes has done all he could to cement himself and the rest of conflux as the most dominant force in VPW. Funk has had tremendous tag team success over the years, but he needs to focus and remember that he won’t have his partner standing on the outside ready to be tagged in.
