East TN’s Championship Wrestling Alliance (www.championshipwrestlingtv.com) has joined the National Wrestling Alliance and will now be known as NWA Smoky Mountain… CWA Commissioner Robbie Cassidy made the announcement at last night’s Championship Wrestling TV Taping in Gray, TN.
The Championship Wrestling Alliance, based in the Tri-Cities area of Northeast TN, has presented top quality wrestling events for the last 7 years. Their television show, Championship Wrestling TV has aired consecutively in their home market for over 6 years. The show’s current timeslot is at Noon on Saturdays on Tri-Cities CW 4. The show is posted online at ChampionshipWrestlingTV.com every week and has been available in the past in national syndication via AMG-TV. The newly rechristened NWA Smoky Mountain will continue to tape television every Thursday Night in Morristown, TN at the National Guard Armory in addition to house shows throughout East TN.

3. Air America (Skylar Kruze & Gavin Darring) defeated Cody Ices and Richard Wellington after Wellington and Ices had a miscommunication
John Hawkins made his return to wrestling in the area for a special interview. Hawkins claimed he was going to tell the fans what the cryptic messages that have recently aired on NWA Smoky Mountain TV were all about. His plans were foiled when the New Executive Producer of NWA Smoky Mountain TV, Matt Rhodes turned off John’s microphone and told him that there was no place for rumors and heresy on this event.
4. NWA Smoky Mountain Heavyweight Champion, Keith Knox defeated Kole Layton King… After the match, King gave Knox a low blow
5. Tony Givens, Robbie Cassidy and Beau James defeated Chris Richards, Lukas Angel and Jeff Baker w/ Rob Knight… After the match, Givens turned on Cassidy and James, attacking them with nunchucks. Givens joined forces with Richards and Baker to attack Cassidy, James, Jeff Connelly, Gavin Darring, Skylar Kruze and Lukas Angel. Even SSW Ladies Champion and Beau’s wife, Misty James wasn’t excluded from the attack as Givens gave her a superkick right in front of her injured husband… Eventually NWA SM Senior Referee Brandon Cox and Matt Rhodes ended up in the fray… by helping Givens and Company!
Givens announced that he, Richards, Baker, manager Rob Knight, Rhodes and Cox had been conspiring on a secret plot for the last 2 years and were now known as the Illuminati… Givens’ tirade on the fans of Kingsport was interrupted by John Hawkins, his bodyguard Mr. Bolo and the returning Steve Fury. Apparently John Hawkins is reforming JHP and war is looming in the Smoky Mountains!

1)Micah Hughes def Adam Roberts by surprise pinfall. The veteran Roberts claimed it a fluke and challenged Hughes to prove it on 6/24 at Slamfest.
2) Jimmy Rave def Seth Delay via pinfall with his feet on the ropes in a great match. Rave heads into Slamfest to face Tank for the NWA Southeastern Heavyweight Championship.
3) The Rev and Seven arrived and The Rev claimed that since Seven had been afforded no real competition and he had something new in mind. He stated he was so confident in "the Deadly Sin" that he'd offer up $500 to anyone who could bodyslam the monster. 3 contestants came down. 1st was Bane Lynch who was destroyed in less than 5 seconds. His brother Joey Lynch up 2nd lasted a whole 10. And contestant #3 Ben Thrasher who offered some size was flattened in less than a minute. Seven debuted a new move called the Soul Syphon....where he basically crushed Thrashers head like a fruit with his bare hands. The Rev said the offering was pathetic and on 6/24 at Slamfest they'll return with another $500 Bodyslam Challenge.
4) Tank def Chrisjen Hayme in a non title match with the Choke-Breaker in what would rank up there with Matthews vs Rave as one NWA Chattanooga's best bouts thus far. Post match Jimmy Rave interupted Tank to let him know he'd be taking his title at Slamfest the two men were seperated by officials as Rave spit on Tank.....then got out of dodge. 5) Team Temptation (Drew Delight & Matt Fortune) defeated Kyle Matthews/Patrick Bentley in quite an upset.....but thanks to the interference of Chrisjen Hayme in what was up until that point a fantastic bout.
6) Shaun Tempers def Corey Hollis in a hard fought contest with the Hangman's Neckbreaker to advance to the finals of the NWA North American Heavyweight Championship Tournament. Afterwards Team Temptation tried to "freshen up" Hollis but the returning Adam Jacobs made the save and challenged Tempers to settle their score at Slamfest.
7) Ace Rockwell and Andrew Alexander agreed on an "I Quit Match" for Slamfest in a verbal battle that included a great many personal insults and ultimately resulted in security having to pull Rockwell off of Alexander. Rockwell stated that pinning Alexander just wasn't good enough. Alexander stated he would make Rockwell quit like a coward in front of his friends family and fans.
8) The Hellbillies/Tobin Davidson vs. Hate Junkies/Jeff G Bailey went to a no contest when the referee lost control of the match. Davidson chased Bailey to the back. Security had an awful tough time breaking up the fight but once the dust settled it was determined that the Junkies and Billies would square off in an anything goes Tennessee Street Fight. |

Friday, June 10, 2011 and Saturday, June 11, 2011 will be The 1st Annual SoCal Pro Tournament to be held in Escondido, CA. The SoCal Pro Tournament will feature sixteen wrestlers trying to advance and become the winner in this two-night event.
On July 16, 2011, SoCal Pro will return to the Oceanside Boys and Girls Club. A match already signed will be an Eight-Man Tag Team Match involving The Mirror Image Megastars (Tommy Wilson, Ricky Mandel, Nick Lovin and Peter Avalon) taking on SoCal Crazy and his three mystery partners.

NWA ZERO1 ran their monthly ZERO1 WRESTLERS event Sunday, results from Hachinohe Seagull View Hotel:
As always, they didn’t announce attendance.
Bikuma (Independent/Freelancer) beat Kazuo-shakui Kokutei (Independent/Freelancer) in 8:55.
KAMIKAZE beat Yoshikazu Yokoyama in 9:33.
Ryouji Sai beat Shito Ueda in 9:02.
Takuya Sugawara & Masamune (Osaka Pro) beat Ikuto Hidaka & Kenta Kakinuma in 13:21. Sugawara pinned Kakinuma after Placenta.
Masato Tanaka & Kohei Sato beat Shinjiro Otani & Daichi Hashimoto in 18:01. Tanaka pinned Hashimoto after Sliding D.
Kenta Kakinuma won a 13 man battle royal in 15:48, last eliminating Daichi Hashimoto.

Two title change hands at NWA Southwest Road Show
Over 500 bikers and local wrestling fans found there way to Longhorn Harley Davidson on May 21st where two NWA Texas State championship changed hands at Longhorn Harley Davidson in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Kevin Douglas defeated Cody Jones to win the Junior title for the second time and Pretty Flawless (Jerome Daniels and Nobe Bryant) defeated Impeccable (Ken Carson & Joey Figerioa) to become two-time champions.
Lance Hoyt defended his Heavyweight title taking two out of three falls from Scot "Underground Icon" Summers while Starr pinned Barbi in a girls match and Dick Dallas and Cowboy James Claxton fought to a time-draw. For more video and photos, go to:

The stunning Ladies of NWA Coastal face-off as the Vivacious Kimber Lee takes on Tough Kacee Carlisle.
The very popular Midnight Sensations tag team will clash with the International team of Canadian Tommy Force and English star Geoffrey Bravo, managed by the mastermind known as Jaden.
Making his return to the Jersey Shore after an 11-year absence, "Wacky" Wayne Woo faces off against the unpredictable Johnny Calzone.
In a battle of young lions, the popular Ryan Blackheart takes on the very tough Alex Payne.
Middle Eastern Maniac Modar Assad, managed by Jaden squares off against All American Superstar Sergeant Dan Gleason in a Flag on a Pole match!
In a NWA Coastal semi-final match for the NWA "Iron Man" Championship, the rugged Johnny Fearless will square off against "Il Capo" Jason Gotti, who will have his manager Millionaire John II in his corner. Millionaire John is forming a new organization called The Boardwalk Mafia, and is looking to add to his stable, perhaps even that evening.
Also appearing that evening: ECW Original "Iron Man" Tommy Cairo, NWA Senior official Fred Richards, Phil Varlese, Daisy, and the entire staff of NWA Coastal.
Doors open at 7 pm, with a 7:30 bell time. Tickets are $15 general admission for adults, and $10 for students. Children under 10 years of age will be admitted free in the company of a parent or guardian (limit of 2 per family). NWA DAWG Returned to Kashmir's in Vineland on May 21st & had an outstanding show from top to bottom
In the opener Nathan Avery defeated Ed House w/Mike Trash.. Nathan got his first win in NWA DAWG & Ed House impressed many with his size & skill..
In a NWA Force One Championship Match Joe Gacy & Dan Murdoch went to a 10 min time limit draw.. Both wrestlers got standing ovations from the crowd & talk of a rematch has already started
Julio Dinero defeated Biggie Biggs by forfeit.. Mike Trash then came out & said Biggie would not be there because "Someone" collected the bounty that has been placed on Biggie's Head.. Julio Dinero then stated that he came to NWA DAWG to face the best & he wanted the biggest, toughest, Meanest & best wrestler in the company so he called out new NWA DAWG Heavyweight Champion Damien Wayne.. He said he wanted DW in a Championship Match but Mr. Wayne said he was taking the night off since the wrestler he was scheduled to wrestle was not there due to injury.. Julio then offered a deal Damien could not refuse.. He put up a night with his beautiful manager & wife Miss Michelle for a shot at the NWA DAWG Championship.. The match had the fans rowdy & on the edge of their seats.. Damian came out on top in a very close match & got to bring Miss Michelle back to North Carolina with him
The Midnight Sensations (Sam Shields & Chris Rockwell) have been crowned the very first NWA DAWG Tag Team Champions with a win over Blaze N' Glory (Sebastian Cruz & Draven Blaze) with the assistance of their new Manager the Sensational One (S-1) & a Steel Chain.. The match was one of the best matches of the night.. Fans enjoyed this high flying encounter & this won't be the last you see Cruz & Blaze in NWA DAWG.. The Midnight Sensations also want it to be known that they are the first Trytonians to ever hold NWA Tag Team Gold
Monster Ahtu impressed many both in the crowd & in the locker room with the Destruction of The Purple Bomber w/ Mike Trash.. Ahtu is a real total package in this business & everyone in the NWA needs to be wary of this monster!
It was then announced that even though Damien Wayne defended the NWA DAWG Championship earlier he was scheduled to face former NWA Force One Heavyweight Champion Johnny Calzone & DW was forced to defend the Championship for a second time.. Both Wrestlers went tooth & nail but Damien once again came out the victor.. The match was so hard hitting that Johnny Calzone broke a tooth, put a hole in his lip & bit 2 holes though his tongue
LJ Cruz w/ Mike Trash Took on Alexander James Atkinson.. The Match was back & forth with LJ using a mix of high flying & cheating & Atkinson bringing back the Discus Punch & the Iron Claw.. LJ Cruz continued his winning ways since he has aligned himself with Mike Trash but it was not an easy victory for him..
In the Main Event the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Craig Classic defeated Joey Spades.. They hit each other so hard that a fan commented that they thought they were fighting for each other’s lives, not for a Championship...In a show of respect Classic raised Spades's Hand & said Joey Spades was his toughest Challenger for the Championship to date.. I think one day we will see a rematch between these two competitors

NWA DAWG announced they return to the Franklin Skating Center in Franklinville, NJ on July 23rd with a show titled "The All American Bash".. The Main Event will be NWA DAWG Champion Damien Wayne defending against WWE Tough Enough Star "M-Dogg 20" Matt Cross
Also announced is former WWE & WcW Star the Patriot, Dan Murdoch & the NWA DAWG Tag Team Champions the Midnight Sensations

Matt Conard w/Steven Stephen Hensley lost to Ricky Shrewsbury after NWA Premier senior official, Mitchell Kirk, allowed an impromptu match due to Hensley berating the fans and goading Shrewsbury into a match.
Jason Kincaid defeated Jeff Mayhem in a hard-hitting contest.
TJ Phillips beat Troy Marcum
Chase Owens defeated "Showtime" Chris Miles to retain the NWA Mountain Empire Championship via interference from Kincaid & Phillips and a loaded roaring elbow.
Chance Prophet retained the NWA National Heavyweight Championship over Onyx in a brutal bout.
TJ Phillips, Chase Owens, & Jason Kincaid attacked Onyx & Chance Prophet after the bell. Onyx and Prophet regained control and Onyx threw Phillips out of the ring onto Kincaid and Owens.
