2CW’s Funk U Results: Terry Funk NEW 2CW Heavyweight Champion?!?
Last evening, after the main event of Funk U, 2CW Heavyweight Champion, Slyck Wagner Brown challenged the 67-year old Living Legend Terry Funk for a match in which the championship was on the line. In very controversial manner, Terry Funk did indeed pin the champion’s shoulders to the mat and leave the arena with the 2CW title. However, the pin-fall was not counted by an official of 2CW, but from an active wrestler on the roster, J Freddie. 2CW Management as of this writing was not available for comment, but all signs point to there being a new heavyweight champion. In another swerve of events, it also appeared as though Terry Funk surrendered the championship to J Freddie on their way out of the arena in Syracuse, NY. This is a major breaking story, and as more information is released, it will be posted right on
www.2CW.com in the coming hours, days and weeks leading into The Big Event, from Watertown, NY on July 15.
