- Davey Richards has returned home from his tour of New Japan Pro Wrestling and has immediately put his training into overdrive in preparation for his Championship bout on June 26th against his American Wolf partner and ROH World Champion Eddie Edwards. Richards plans to be in the best shape of his life entering the match and everything is on the line in what will be the biggest challenge of his life. The title “Best In The World 2011” embodies this main event and everyone from around the globe is wondering who will be able to call themselves “the best” after June 26th has passed.

- Former ROH World Champion Roderick Strong is currently having a very successful tour of Japan for Pro Wrestling NOAH. Strong opened the “Navigation with Breeze 2011” tour victorious teaming with Bobby Fish defeating Ricky Marvin and Kotaro Suzuki on 6/11 at Differ Ariake. Strong continued his winning ways on 6/12 and 6/13 defeating Ricky Marvin in Osaka and Atsushi Aoki in Zepp Nagoya. Strong is set to challenge GHC JR Heavyweight champion Kotaro Suzuki on 6/26 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. We will keep you updated on the progress of Strong on his road to attain GHC Gold.
As officially announced earlier today (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/homicide-faces-the-embassys-verdict-in-nyc/), “The Notorious 187” Homicide will collide with Prince Nana’s bodyguard, Rhino at “Best in the World 2011” in a No Holds Barred Street Fight! With Princess Mia at home, the Barrister in “meetings”, and Tommaso Ciampa engaged in another bout, this may be the fairest shot Homicide has had against The Embassy thus far, even with the total lack of rules. “Throw everything you got at me Nana,” said Homicide, “Throw every person your money can buy at this Rottweiler and I’ll keep taking. This Lucha thug will keep comin’ and ain’t nothin’ or nobody that can put me down for good!”
- ROH returns to Richmond, VA on July 8th and Charlotte, NC on July 9th and you can expect several first time match-ups and first rate cards featuring the best pound for pound wrestling on the planet! We now know that ROH officials are in the process of setting up the next contenders for the ROH World Tag Team Titles and all the top ROH talent has signed on to appear.
