ECWA –Kid America on July 16 in Newark, DE and Tag Team Tournament Announced for Nov 19 in Newark, DE
IT’S GOING to BE a BLUE 4th for KID AMERICA!
When you ask Kid America what his favorite holiday is, would you expect any answer other than the 4th of July? As we approach the day of our declaration of independence, many are making plans to celebrate. But this year, Kid America’s holiday won’t be Red, White and Blue… just BLUE!
You see, several months ago, the Russian Assassin and his manger, Coach Jim Shorts, stole Kid America’s USA flag at the ECWA and they are still in possession of it.
“That particular flag has sentimental value to me. I’m not one to cry to the promoters and management; I take care of business inside the ring. Assassin, Shorts, trust me, one way or another, I am going to take back what you stole. Be ready on July 16th in Newark [Delaware]!”
Will Kid America be able to restore his and his country’s honor? Be there on July 16th to find out!
ECWA TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ANNOUNCED, NOV 19th in NEWARK, DE
On November 19, 2011, at the Boys & Girls Club in Newark, Delaware, Tri-State Wrestling Entertainment, LLC, presents the EAST COAST WRESTLING ASSOCIATION (ECWA) TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT!
The Nov. 19 tournament, like the Super 8 Tournament, will feature 8 entrants/teams and be a one-night single elimination event.
On June 6, 2010, Tri-State Wrestling Entertainment, LLC presented a tag team tournament for the Tri-State Wrestling Alliance (TWA) Tag Team Titles that was won by the Best Around, TJ Canon and Bruce Maxwell.

“I have always been a huge fan of tag team wrestling, especially 80′s tag teams like the British Bulldogs, the Hart Foundation, the Midnight Express and the Road Warriors to name a few,” said Joe Zanolle of ECWA management. “I also love tournaments, namely the Jim Crockett Cup tournaments in the 1980′s and of course the SUPER 8. In today’s wrestling, it seems that tag team wrestling is always an afterthought, at least in the WWE, but there are tons of great tag teams on the independent scene that are keeping the art of tag team wrestling alive and that is what we want to celebrate on Nov 19th!”
The TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT will now be an annual event like the Super 8 Tournament.
The 8 teams competing in the Nov 19th tournament will be announced in the weeks and months ahead.
