CANADA DAY CLASH RESULTS – SPW presented Canada Day Clash during the City of Selkirk’s Manitoba Avenue street festival. Results were as follows: Jethro Hawg & Chip Fletcher defeated The Hoodlum & Sydney Manson; “Big Rig” Shawn Northstar defeated “Really Crazy” Rob Stardom; Marius defeated Mike Mission; SYKO defeated Nacho Slurpee; “Iron” Ike Idol defeated La Sombra to retain the SPW Heavyweight Title; Mr. Nasty defeated Matt Fairlane; Matt Fairlane won the Canada Day Clash Battle Royal.

SPW DEBUTS AT FROG FOLLIES – For the first time ever, Steeltown Pro Wrestling will be in St. Pierre-Jolly with a wrestling event on Saturday July 16th during the annual Frog Follies festival, one of Manitoba’s biggest rural festivals. More details will be announced of the course of the next two weeks.
4th ANNUAL RED RIVER RUMBLE – The 4th annual Red River Rumble is set to take place on Saturday August 13th at the Selkirk Water Front. This event will be an outdoor show, FREE of charge, brought to you by the City of Selkirk. Expect a few “special attractions” to be announced for the event as well as additional event dates before and after August 13th.

WILD WOMEN OF SPW – SPW officials are negotiating to bring back the Wild Women of SPW before the end of summer. In the last year SPW has promoted women’s matches with the likes of Ann Brookstone, Alexis Anderson, Mystik Sexton, Jade Phoenix, Cathy Cougar, Jordan Brooks and more.
