TITAN FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS 19 PREVIEW PART TWO

By David Tees on 7/27/2011 10:10 AM
Despite losing an important heavyweight fight between former WWE star Bobby Lashley and UFC veteran Eddie Sanchez, Titan Fighting Championships will move forward. This portion of the card previewed here features a former UFC veteran and a top ranked female competitor. Just like the first portion of the preview, Titan Fighting Championships never announced what fights are on TV and on the preliminary card as of this writing.

Kicking off this preview is a middleweight division clash as Rob “The Rosedale Reaper” Kimmons (23-7-0) faces Brendan “The Caucasian Devastation” Seguin (22-17-1). Rob Kimmons is fighting for the first time since being cut by the UFC, where he won three of seven in the promotion. Brendan Seguin enters the fight riding a four fight winning streak, with two victories coming in the Impact Fight League. This is going to be a tough test for Rob Kimmons, who will find a way to get the win and end his losing streak.

The next fight will be taking place is the women’s welterweight division as Tonya Evinger (8-5-0) steps into battle against Sara McMann (2-0-0). Tonya Evinger has competed in a professional MMA fight in nearly a year, with her last victory coming over Adrienna Jenkins. Sara McMann made her professional MMA debut this past Spring and both of her victories have occurred in the opening round. Despite the undefeated streak, Sara McMann does not have the tools to pull the upset over Tonya Evinger.

Headlining this card is a lightweight division contest as James “The” Krause (12-3-0) takes on Clay French (18-6-0). James Krause is currently undefeated in Titan Fighting Championships competition, going a solid four out of four. Clay French enters this fight riding a two fight winning streak, but this will be his first MMA fight in 2011. Both competitors are top notch MMA fighters, but it will be James Krause remaining undefeated in TFC competition.
