STEELTOWN PRO NEWS BULLETIN (07/29/11) ZUMHOFF OUT, SEXTON IN – Late Thursday night SPW officials received word that Heather Zuhmhoff would be unable to compete at SPW’s first ever triple shot weekend. She was scheduled for a series of matches against Ann Brookstone. In her place, SPW has signed Brookstone’s longtime rival, Mystik Sexton! JOHNNY DEVINE VS MARIUS – In his SPW debut, former TNA X-Division Champion Johnny Devine will challenge former 2-time SPW Heavyweight Champion Marius on Saturday August 13th at the 4th Annual Red River Rumble in Selkirk, MB. LONGEST REIGNING PROVINCIAL CHAMPION – Jerin Rose has officially surpassed the 126 day record set by both Ike Idol and Jay Lanza as the longest reigning SPW Provincial Champion. By the time Rose next defends the championship his reign will have reached 167 days. WHO IS #1 CONTENDER – SPW officials are deciding on a list of challengers for Ike Idol’s SPW Heavyweight Title but the official #1 contender will be decided on August 13th. The winner of the 2011 Red River Rumble will be named the official #1 Contender to the SPW Heavyweight Title. HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME – Matches scheduled for the August 12th event in Arborg, MB are: SYKO Vs Chi p Fletcher in a Last Man Standing Match; Ann Brookstone Vs Mystic Sexton in women’s wrestling action; a Rapid Rumble and Ike Idol Vs the winner of the Rapid Rumble for the SPW Heavyweight Title. RED RIVER RUMBLE – Matches scheduled for the August 13th event in Selkirk, MB are: the 4th annual Red River Rumble match; Marius Vs Johnny Devine and Ike Idol Vs an opponent yet to be determined for the SPW Heavyweight Title.
