RESULTS FROM SCW'S JUSTIN 'RYZE' HONEYCUTT TRIBUTE SHOW

On Saturday night in Sanford, Florida SCW held their latest show which was billed as the Justin ‘Ryze’ Honeycutt Tribute Show to celebrate the life of Honeycutt who passed away in a tragic accident on July 2nd.

Here are the results of the show:

Match Number One: Bruce Santee with Ron Niemi defeated Francisco Ciatso with Double Deuce Social Club with the Big Dump. After the match, Santee gave a Big Dump to Shooter Storm.

Match Number Two: Kyle Blizzard defeated Sultan Ali and Prince Hassan in a Three Way Dance.

Match Number Three: Vito DeNucci with Chris Nelson defeated Ricky Romeo with a super kick. Before the match, DeNucci got on the mic and he talked about how he got a text message from Justin earlier in the day that Justin died and he talked about how much Justin loved the business as well as how much Justin loved his family and friends.

Match Number Four: Jerrelle Clark defeated London Vice with Last Train to Clarksville. During the course of the match, Clark’s son started a very noticeable chant for his father.

Match Number Five: The Loggers (Dagon Briggs and Jack Manley) defeated The Dark City Fight Club (Jon Davis and Kory Chavis) when Manley pinned Chavis with a rollup.

Team 3D Academy Trainer and TNA Wrestler Devon came out to address the crowd to talk about Justin. He talked about the first time he met Justin and how he was a gentle giant who would be missed. He said that this should not be considered a sad moment or a chance to say goodbye to Justin, but a chance to say ‘See You Later’. He said that this was definitely a time to say ‘Testify’.

As soon as Devon finished his comments the lights in the building went out in an almost symbolic manner and they had a brief intermission while everyone waited for the lights to go back on.

Match Number Six: Jason Hexx defeated Thomas Marr with an inside cradle.

After the match, Jason Hexx, who was Ryze’s partner in the ASO got on the mic and he mentioned that the wrestling community lost a special person and a great talent. He said that in addition to losing a tag team partner, he lost a friend and a brother. He said that Justin was the most caring, kindest, and most considerate person he knew.

Match Number Seven: Kahagas defeated Naphtali with a Michinoku Driver

They showed footage of Ryze facing off with Matt Morgan at a previous SCW show.

TNA Wrestler Matt Morgan came out to talk to the people in attendance. He said that he was glad that they showed the footage before he came out and he called Ryze a class act who would have been successful in whatever profession he chose because he had a huge heart. Matt said that when he heard how Justin died, he was very angry. Matt mentioned that Ryze was talking to him before and during their match about how honored he was to have wrestled Matt. Matt said that it was a shame that Justin never got a chance in WWE or TNA because he was someone who could not be held down. Matt said that he talked to the people in TNA about how they should consider adding him to the roster. Matt said that Justin will be with everyone he was close to.

Match Number Eight: Raymond Snow and the Heartbreak Express (Sean Davis and Phil Davis) defeated Eric Cooper, Michael Patrick, and Teigan James when Snow pinned James after Snow hit a uranage followed by a power slam from Phil Davis, and an Earthquake splash by Sean Davis.

They showed a video package about Ryze.

Match Number Nine: Scotty 2 Hotty defeated Simon Sez after a W-O-R-M. Before the match, Simon cut a promo about Scotty but Scotty hit a bulldog and followed by the worm.

After the match, Scotty brought his two children into the ring and had them do the worm.

Match Number Ten: Thomas Marr won the 6’10” Ryze Rumble by eliminating Eric Cooper.

After the match, SCW owner Chris Carson came to the ring and he thanked everyone for coming out to celebrate Ryze.
