GQ Money to open for hip-hop legend KRS-1

From the ring to the stage GQ Money has been an exuberant expression of
energy with a concussion bomb of charisma, and on October 28th his hip-hop
skills will be tested as he opens for a performer who many call one of the
greatest hip-hop MCs of all time, KRS-1.
"It's like a dream come true to have this opportunity," said Smiley. "Any
time anyone asks me my favorite music artist, I always answer quickly,
KRS-1. To be able to share the stage with him, and demonstrate what I've
learned from "The teacher" in terms of my skills as an MC will no doubt be
one of the coolest moments of my life!"
This isn't Smiley's 1st time opening up for a hip-hop legend as just last
month he was able to open for Kurtis Blow at a show in Santa Monica. His
latest song "Smurf Yourself Better" has racked up more than 110,000 hits in
the 5-weeks it has been up on YouTube, and as of recently, GQ/Smiley has
been working hard to establish his name in Hollywood, witht hese shows, and
also his appearance on IFC Channel's "Rhett and link: Commercial Kings."
When asked if he was trading his wrestling persona and wrestling pursuits
aside for a new hip-hop career, Smiley had this to say.
"Quite the contrary, in fact, it's just my time to try and do it all. Last
month we took the Sunset Strip by storm with my wrestling variety show
'Fight Night on The Strip' and the club was so happy they they want to
develop it into a regular huge event. I've been rapping for almost
25-years, I used to run the hip-hop department for my college radio station,
and I used to perform regularly in Colorado all through college. I just
figure I need to work harder than ever to make my dreams come true, and with
a smile on my face I can say that it is happening."
