ACE Collision Course results 9/10/11
ACE Arena - Union City, NJ
Before the show even kicked off, the almighty Sheik came out to the ring and interrupted the singing of God Bless America by Elisabeth Sol! ACE Heavyweight champion Jorge Luis Rivera ran out to make the save, which had the Sheik scurry from the ring. ACE Owner Mike Morgan came out and stated that he was out for Rivera's blood and tonight, the ACE Heavyweight championship match between Rivera and the Sheik will now be NO DISQUALIFICATION!
1) ACE Battlebowl 2011 winner "The Protector of Pro Wrestling" Jack Gallow defeated Mike Donovan in a great opener. Gallow picked apart Donovan's knee throughout, ultimately catching Donovan with an amateur rollup, shifting his weight onto the bad wheel of the "Saint from the South Side of Brooklyn" and picking up the victory.
Immediately afterwards, Mike Morgan and the ACES hit the ringside area. Gallow, who eliminated the "ACE of Spades" Danny Maff to win Battlebowl the month before, thought he was going to get jumped by Maff and the ACE Tag Tea, champions William Wyeth and Tom Scanlon, but instead was offered the "ACE of Diamonds" spot in the 4 ACES by Mike Morgan. Morgan fired Rob Vegas from the ACES for not being "man enough" and posing too much, and offered the spot to "the Protector of Pro Wrestling". Demanding an answer right then and there, Morgan got his answer: YES. Jack Gallow joined the ACES and made the group a full deck once again.
2) Smith James defeated "Heavenly" Hatch Stevens. Stevens almost picked up an upset by utilizing his comedic style on James, but ultimately fell victim to the Emerald Fusion of the big man from Brooklyn.
3) Lucky Zaccone, representing La Cosa Italiano, defeated Ed Scanlon after interference from Il Padrone. Before the match, "the Boss of Bosses" offered Big Ed a spot in La Cosa Italiano, referencing the fact Ed has been a singles competitor since his brother Tom joined the ACES. Ed said "Hell no" emphatically, which lead Zaccone to jump him from behind. Ultimately, the odds were too much for Ed, as Zaccone low-blowed him and nailed his "coup de grace" for a pinfall win.
4) Andrew "Tiny" Johnson and "the King of Diamonds" Eddie Kingston defeated the Order of the Black (ACE Diamond Division champion Stockade and Rodz w/ Crusher Doogan and Nikki Syx) when Tiny pinned Stockade with Splash Mountain. After the match, a tall man dressed in black entered the ring and attacked Kingston. The OOTB went to town on Kingston's left knee, leaving him lying as Tiny was immobilized by the other members of the group.
5) "The ACE of Hearts" Tom Scanlon and "the ACE of Clubs" William Wyeth, the ACE Tag Team champions, defeated The Movement (Jamal Jackson and FNB) when Scanlon pinned Jackson after putting his feet on the ropes after a roll-up. After the match, Mike Lewis entered the ring and said that he wanted to have the Movement join Mike Lewis Enterprise and to fire their manager, Anton DeMonico. DeMonico took offense and took out Lewis. In the locker room, Lewis was seen saying for the ACE Collision Course DVD release that he will bring in his revenge for the Movement turning him down.
6) Thomas "the Gate" Rodriguez won the Russian Roulette match, outlasting Chris Raze, Talon, Giovanni Marranca, Lou Martinez, Stan Stylez, and Neeno Capone to gain a big victory.
7) In a great match-up, Jay Lethal defeated "the ACE of Spades" Danny Maff by DQ when Jack Gallow, the new ACE of Diamonds, interfered. After Lethal cleared house of the ACES, Jay requested ACE Owner Mike Morgan a match. At Rise to Power on November 12, Jay Lethal will go one-on-one with Jack Gallow. Since Lethal believes that Morgan has let the power go to his head since forming the 4 ACES back in May 2010, Jay stated that if he wins, he gets to name who the first ACE Commissioner should be. Morgan surprisingly agreed, not before coming up with a stipulation of his own. If Gallow wins, Jay Lethal will be forced to join the ACES and work along them. Lethal agreed and the match was set.
8) ACE Heavyweight champion Jorge Luis Rivera defeated the almighty SHEIK w/ Ayatollah Morgan in a no-disqualification match that many just considered to be a flat-out brawl. Rivera picked up the pin after the "Ayatollah" accidentally hit the Sheik with a steel chair.
