"Hotshot" Danny Duggan vs. "The Asian Assassin" KATO
The Alliance of Defiance has unveiled its next hired gun to derail Danny Duggan's attempt at dis-banding the hated super group and that man is KATO! Since the AOD won control of CWE they have been making life difficult for Duggan including firing him months back. Since winning his job back Duggan has shown a side aggression never seen before and is showing no signs of slowing down until he gets what he has vowed to win, the CWE championship. He issued a challenge at Only the Strong Survive to Mentallo and awaits a response but may not get that far if KATO has anything to say about it. KATO trained by Teddy Hart has been tearing up the Alberta wrestling scene currently holding TCW's Heavyweight championship in Calgary and RCW's Mid Heavyweight title in Edmonton. With a strong background in martial arts KATO is a well rounded machine trained to destroy and that is exactly what he is getting paid to do on Oct 2nd! Duggan has had opponents of all backgrounds thrown his way but this may be the most dangerous. Duggan put to the test again at Hart Attack!
B. Brian Rich vs. Matt Fairlane
Matt Fairlane has been the break out star of the AOD era in CWE with some impressive victories and some even more violent attacks on members of the roster. Since ditching former partner Bobby Fox, Fairlane made a statement saying he was going to target the toughest man in the locker room and he did just that when he destroyed Paul Arcidi with a chair and piledriver. Arcidi hasn't been seen since and Fairlane continues to rack up victims with his last attack being on Billy Blaze. With few men looking to get in the ring with someone on such a mission B. Brian Rich has stepped up to the plate to challenge Matt Fairlane on Oct 2nd. Rich once the laughing stock of the locker room has spent more hours in the training academy in the last 6 months than anyone else on the roster with many different veterans and has shown vast improvement in the ring. Rich is looking for a breakout moment after two close matches with Tyler Colton. Rich is showing more heart than ever before in attempt to make a name for himself at the expense of Fairlane's ruthless streak. Veteran vs. Rookie on Oct 2nd!
