3XWrestling Prepares For October Wrestling Spectacular
Halloween Horror 5 Features All-Stars of Midwest Pro Wrestling
DES MOINES, Iowa - 3XWrestling (3XW) proudly presents its annual October supershow, Halloween Horror 5, on October 28 at the Forte Center at All Play in downtown Des Moines.
The stacked card of Midwest all-stars features three championship matches, a major six-man tag team grudge match and a battle royal.
3XW is also hosting its annual Halloween costume contest for fans at this event. The fan with the winning costume - as voted on by 3XW staff and wrestlers - will win a great merchandise package and also be given the chance to record commentary with play-by-play announcer Midnight Guthrie during one match that evening.

Doors open for Halloween Horror 5 at 7 p.m. (6:45 p.m. for advance ticket holders) for a 7:30 p.m. start time. The Forte Center at All Play is located at 615 3rd St. in beautiful downtown Des Moines.

Advance tickets are $12 adult general admission and $6 for kids 10 and under. Advance ticket holders get into the arena 15 minutes early to pick their seats. Tickets at the door the night of the event are $15 for adult general admission but still only $6 for kids (free for kids 3 and under).

Founded in 2005, 3XWrestling, a Des Moines-based organization, has performed in front of thousands of fans across Iowa and been featured on KCWI TV, Des Moines Radio Group stations, Iowa Public Radio and in publications including the Des Moines Register, Juice, Cityview and Pro Wrestling Illustrated. 3XW events are held each month in Des Moines, as well as other venues throughout Iowa.
3XWrestling and its performers are heavily involved with charity work, including regularly giving out complimentary tickets for events to area charities.
In February 2009, one-legged wrestling star Zach Gowen competed in 3XW and helped raise over $10,000 to help the family of a young man whose leg was amputated due to his battle with cancer. All proceeds from that event we're given to the family to offset medical costs, with every wrestler performing on a volunteer basis.
