On October 16, 1859, John Brown launched a raid on the federal Armory in Harper's Ferry, (at that time) Virginia that would essentially start the American Civil War. In a twist of historic irony, Brown's raiders were defeated by a United States Marine detachment led by Colonel Robert E. Lee, the future leader of the Condeferate forces. Many battles and historical events have taken place in and around Harper's Ferry, West Virginia.
On January 21, 2012, Primal Conflict Wrestling will write another chapter in our own violent history as "UnCivil War" takes place at the Harper's Ferry KOA.
