STEELTOWN PRO WRESTLING RETURNS TO
NOTRE-DAME-DE-LOURDES IN JANUARY 2012
NOTRE-DAME-DE-LOURDES, MB (December 7, 2011) – Steeltown Pro Wrestling (SPW) returns to the Centennial Hall in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Manitoba on Friday January 20th, 2012! This marks the fourth event that SPW has promoted in the community since January 2009.
SPW’s return to Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes will feature local wrestler Marius (Jean Gaultier) as well as Jehtro Hawg (Randy Unrau) who resides in the neighbouring community of St. Leon. Also set for action, the return of the Wild Women of SPW making their Notre-Dame debuts!
Past SPW events in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes have served as fundraisers for the Faune Notre-Dame Wildlife Association and the Notre-Dame Volunteer Fire Department. In June 2009, legendary wrestler Rick “the Model” Martel made his Steeltown Pro Wrestling debut in the Notre-Dame.
Jean Gaultier, who is promoting the event locally, stated that they are looking into making the January 20th event a fundraiser and that a part of the proceeds may be donated to the Notre-Dame hospital construction project.

SELKIRK, MB (December 8, 2011) – Steeltown Pro Wrestling (SPW) has made the Selkirk Memorial Hall its home base since April 2008 and SPW is returning home on Saturday January 21, 2011.
Steeltown Pro Wrestling returns to the Selkirk Memorial Hall for the first time in 2012 with a night of action packed wrestling and the return of the Wild Women of SPW! The last SPW event in Selkirk was held in November as a partnership with the City of Selkirk for the annual Parade of Lights fundraiser and collection for the Selkirk Food Bank and Christmas Hamper Drive.
Along with the Wild Women of SPW, this event will feature wrestlers that reside in Selkirk including SPW Heavyweight Champion “Iron” Ike Idol, “Classic” Matt Fairlane, Mr. Nasty and “Really Crazy” Rob Stardom. Chip Fletcher from Arborg and Gibby Guerrero from Gimli are also set to compete.
