3XWrestling Prepares For Major Holiday Spectacular
Holiday Havoc 3 Features All-Stars of Midwest Pro Wrestling
DES MOINES, Iowa - 3XWrestling (3XW) proudly presents its annual year-end supershow, Holiday Havoc 3, on December 30 at the Barratta's@Forte Center in downtown Des Moines.
The stacked card of Midwest all-stars includes three major championship matches and – for the first-time ever in 3XW – a tag team flag match!
3XW’s October event, Halloween Horror 4, saw the introduction of dramatic live production changes, including an enhanced sound system, specialized lighting displays and the use of video projection equipment throughout the event. November Knockout 3: Black Friday saw live video interviews shown to the audience that further enhanced the viewing experience. Look for even more exciting production additions to the live event experience at Holiday Havoc 3.
There will also be a very special announcement at Holiday Havoc 3 about a well-known wrestling champion making his 3XW debut at our January event!
The Des Moines-based family-friendly wrestling promotion has grown from humble beginnings in July 2005 to being a leader in the Midwestern professional wrestling scene. 3XW has twice been recognized (2008, 2010) by Missouri Wrestling Revival (http://www.
3XWrestling is also very proud to announce that they will once again be holding monthly events in Des Moines at the Baratta's@Forte Grand Ballroom through 2012 and are in the process of scheduling more events throughout Iowa in 2012.

”The Iron Man” Mark Sterling vs. 3XW Heavyweight champion “The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt
- The most-anticipated Heavyweight title rematch of the year! Wyatt won a 27-minute classic in November, only for Sterling to viciously assault Wyatt’s knee following the bout. Footage of this attack can be seen on 3XW Outside the Ring. Will Wyatt’s knee stay healthy enough to successfully defend the title over the super-dangerous Sterling again?
3XW Pure Wrestling Championship!
”The Rockstar” Jimmy Rockwell vs. 3XW Pure Wrestling champion”The Anarchist” Arik Cannon
- Cannon, a national star seen throughout the world on iPPV, used under-handed means to defeat Sir Bradley Charles for the title in November and has refused to give SBC a rematch. SBC has instead given his blessing to his good friend Jimmy Rockwell to try to become a four-time Pure champion!
3XW Tag Team Championship!
Sexy & Smooth (AJ Smooth & Ryan Slade) vs. 3XW Tag Team champions American Ground & Air (“The Professional” Benjamin Sailer & Nate Bash) with Todd Countryman
- Another highly-anticipated rematch. Genesis members Sailer & Bash have used the titles as weapons two consecutive months to score falls over Sexy & Smooth in matches. Will the Board of Directors honor Sexy & Smooth’s request of a second referee at ringside?
3XW’s First-Ever Tag Team Flag Match!
The American Bulldogs (“The American Fury” Jon West & Maddog McDowell with manager Skylar Pierce) vs. The Mylan Management Agency (Domino Rivera & “The Laotian Sensation” Ricky Kwong with manager “Founder of MMA” Chad Mylan)
- 3XW’s longest-running rivalry comes to a head in 3XW’s first-ever tag team flag match! There have been incredible twists-and-turns in this feud dating back to April – who will climb the pole and capture the flag amid the chaos?
Triple Threat Match – Loser Leaves Genesis!
”Delicious” Devin Carter vs. “The Unbreakable” Zach Thompson vs. “Torturous” Tony Sly
- As ordered by 3XW Commissioner Todd Countryman, the leader of Genesis, these teammates must battle as a result of taking falls in November’s 10-Man elimination tag team match. Who will be forced to leave the supergroup?
Singles Match
Casanova vs. Sir Bradley Charles
- SBC lost the Pure Wrestling championship to underhanded veteran Arik Cannon in November. He’s hoping to earn a rematch with Cannon, but first he must contend with the incredible challenge of Genesis member Casanova, the most recognized champion in 3XW history. The winner of this match is potentially in line for either a Pure Wrestling or Heavyweight championship shot!
Singles Match
Ray Stryker vs. Gage Octane
- Stryker, a rookie and the most recent graduate of the 3XWrestling Academy, couldn’t draw a tougher challenge for his first singles match ever at the Forte Center. Octane is 3XW’s longest-tenured veteran, as well as a very crafty grappler and member of Genesis. Will Stryker be able to hang with the ultra-tough Octane, especially given Octane’s recent winning streak?
Doors open for Holiday Havoc 3 at 7 p.m. (6:45 p.m. for advance ticket holders) for a 7:30 p.m. start time. The Barratta's@Forte Center is located at 615 3rd St. in beautiful downtown Des Moines.
Advance tickets for 3XW events are available at http://www.3XWrestling.com, All Play (615 3rd St.), Cup O’ Kryptonite (4521 Fleur Dr. in Des Moines), and Jay’s CD and Hobby (3315 S.E. 14th St.). Advance tickets are $12 adult general admission and $6 for kids 10 and under. Advance ticket holders get into the arena 15 minutes early to pick their seats. Tickets at the door the night of the event are $15 for adult general admission but still only $6 for kids (free for kids 3 and under).
