News stories of the past week include...
SECTION 8 GRANTS MARKER DILLENGER A REMATCH FOR DARIUS CARTER'S UNITED STATES TITLE!
After winning the #1 contendership in a four-way elimination match at Bad Blood in October, Marker Dillenger came within inches of victory several times during his title shot at Revelations in November before "The Debonair Millionaire" Darius Carter was able to edge out a victory. Many people in attendance believed the match to be a contender for match of the night, and those comments did not go unheard by several people in the locker room, including BWO President Section 8. Plans for a rematch were immediately put into place. Darius Carter, obviously upset about having to face an up-and-coming opponent twice in such a short period of time, tried to utilize the hard-hitting style of Alex Payne to permanently injure Marker Dillenger prior to the rematch, only to have his plan fall apart at Season's beatings, with Dillenger scoring a victory over the international superstar Payne. Dillenger later confronted Carter in the ring after his successful title defense to confront him with the locker room rumors that Payne had indeed been trying to injure him during the match due to Carter's influence. In lieu of a response, Mr. Carter instead hit Marker with The Foreclosure, leaving him laying in the center of the ring. Section 8 has fast-tracked this rematch to take place January 21st at Showdown. Will Dillenger be able to exact a measure of revenge and take Carter's title? Come down to the show to find out!
WORLD TITLE REMATCH SIGNED!
Speaking of rematches, Sebastian Cruz has enacted the rematch clause afforded all champions of the BWO, and will face new BWO World Champion Tristen Law on January 21st at Showdown. Law, boastful as ever, has been heard saying that he is already looking past this match as he has already determined how to beat "The Puerto Rican Prodigy" and is looking to "elevate the World Title to new levels" in future outings. Cruz will certainly not take these comments lightly as he looks to regain the title he had held since last February. After seeing the last 3 contest these two athletes have had, everyone should know this next bout will be one to watch!
FOUL PLAY IN THE LAST PREACHER/ROTTEN MATCH?
To those in attendance at Season's Beatings, it was no secret that many fans were up in arms after the last Preacher vs. Richie Rotten match. Was that a fast count? And if it wasn't, why were the referee and The Dynasty so quick to leave the ringside area? The offices of the BWO have been going over the footage, and thus far any allegations of referee tampering in the last match are wholly inconclusive. No one representing The Dynasty of Destruction could be reached for comment, nor would senior official Joe Garcia answer any questions since that night. One person who hasn't stopped talking about the match is Preacher, who isn't concerned with the investigations, as he is simply "waiting to get his hands on Richie Rotten again at Showdown." Due to the need for any investigation, a return match has been granted for January 21st, and, at this point, it can only be expected to be brutal.
That's all for this week. Please check out the charity for this show at http://letthembelittlex2.com. Until next time, we thank you.
