Australasian Wrestling Federation kicks off 2012 in a huge way, as Australia's top pro-wrestlers converge on Penrith Panthers on Friday 20 January, 2012 for a massive event entitled "Australia's Best of The Best".
This huge evening will showcase the prestigious Best of The Best Tournament, which will highlight 4 of Australia's top stars in tournament action, with the winner to receive a future title shot of their choosing. This special night will see tribute paid to beloved referee Owen “OJ” Fitzpatrick who recently was taken from us, and the winner will be awarded a special trophy in his honour.
Scheduled round 1 bouts see local Penrith Panther Dean Draven Vs Elite Wrestling's Jay Law, and Peurto Rico's Estaban Molina taking on last years’ winner Blakestone.
In addition to the tournament, the Australasian Championship will also be on the line seeing "Iron" Ben Coles defend the championship and honour of NSW against Victoria's top wrestler Matt Silva. This will be a battle of two of Australia's best conditioned fighting athletes and an exceptional championship contest.
Other talent scheduled to appear on the night includes Party Trix, Spaceboy Dacey, Detective Magnum Holmes, Mass Transit and more!
Be sure to bring the family and enjoy a great night of AWF Live Pro-Wrestling action in this all ages sports entertainment extravaganza.
