UFC YANKS MARCH PPV IN MONTREAL, PUSHING RETURN TO CANADA BACK

Canadian Press Sports Editor Neil Davidson reported this afternoon that the planned UFC PPV in Montreal on 3/26 has been canceled. The PPV lineup had been an issue, at least from a main event standpoint, since UFC Welterweight champ George St.-Pierre went down to a torn ACL and subsequent surgery.

Davidson wrote, "UFC postpones March show in Montreal, citing scheduling complications and desire to deliver "championship card."

UFC's Dana White confirmed the change to MMAJunkie.com, noting that the flagship MMA promotion is currently reshuffling its Spring schedule to provide the best possible lineups and events.

White noted that they had hoped to run in Montreal in April but were unable to secure a suitable date.
