It’s going to be a magical night of great comedy and music.

“Luscious” Johnny Valiant returns to the comedy stage on Sunday January 29, 2012 at beautiful Gizzi’s in NYC. The WWE Hall of Famer sold out Madison Square Garden four times in 1974-75 as one half of the legendary Valiant Brothers, managed Hulk Hogan in the AWA, moved on to manage The Dream Team of Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine, appeared in The Sopranos and the film The Wrestler, and has taken his one man theatrical/comedy show nationwide.  He now returns to Gizzi’s for a NO COVER show ($10 minimum at tables).

Join Johnny and top indie stars from the FWE* (Family Wrestling Entertainment) promotion for a meet and greet from 7-8PM. There will be free autographs available from the stars in attendance.

At 8PM the great singer/songwriter Ned Massey, John Hammond Sr.’s final discovery, will perform a set of his brilliant compositions. Massey has toured with top acts such as Shawn Colvin, Susan Vega, Wilco, The Neville Brothers, and The Violent Femmes and is currently honing an autobiographical critically acclaimed musical, Blood Ties.

Then at 9PM the brilliant Johnny Valiant takes the stage for what will be an unforgettable night of comedy mixed with theater.

The evening is hosted by Evan Ginzburg, Associate Producer of The Wrestler, Producer of Theresa Sareo Alive Again featuring Gary Sinise and Lanny Poffo, and host of Legends Radio.

So come out, meet and mingle and enjoy a great evening of entertainment. Gizzi’s has great food, drinks, desserts and ambiance.
