INJURY UPDATE ON UFC'S MARK MUNOZ

As reported yesterday on PWInsiderXTRA, Middleweight contender Mark Munoz was forced to withdraw from an upcoming #1 contender bout with Chael Sonnen at this month's UFC on FOX 2 due to an undisclosed injury.

Today it was revealed that Mark Munoz suffered an injury to his right elbow. Munoz was brought in Las Vegas last week to meet with UFC physicians.

It is believed that the elbow injury will require the fighter to have surgery, and Munoz himself has stated that he will be out four to six weeks.
